Likely been discussed before but I really missing some adult content.
1
Missing Racism this is extreme important to add depth and motivation for evil and it represent how people where in time line
2
Key motivations of factions,
serious graywardens would never do that after the blight just ended. Sorry this was like we need to add gray wardens do something stupid we add this.
3.
The game it self feels not evil in witcher II + 3 I feel people really are evil people burned alive etc
I really missing this ingame it's feels like Disney written the story and it's really a dishonor to dragon age origins (I kick a man in the lava just because the warden can)
this sort of stuff makes a game mature.
4. Faith and religion put a foot in the door but not trough it. This is a major disappointment if you apply religion people in those time zones would be complete zealots and Elf would not be a inquisitor. Like Never ever.
5. What's up with the HAIR bioware? you import the hair from Mass effect I to today's games is meshing a new few hair types to much work?. even on the nexus people deliver better looking hair then you have ingame
Hope this helps with new Dragon age and have some pointers to improve upon.

1. My Inquisitor was an elf and orlesians were pretty racist in his regards. 2. It's been more than a decade since the Blight ended and Grey Wardens aren't exactly the order of heroic warriors everyone makes them out to be. I thought that Origins and made it pretty clear. 3. Yes, and...? Not every game needs to feel like The Witcher. Skyrim certainly didn't, and it was a success nonetheless. 4.Again, my Elf Inquisitor was frowned upon, especially by Orlesians. The Chantry's main argument for denouncing the Inquisition was that its supposed Herald of Andraste was an elf. And yet people saw him walk out of the Fade with a woman behind him, people saw him return after an avalanche fell upon him, people saw him sealing rifts when no one else could. Regardless of what he said, people believed that he was Andraste's herald, and I frankly don't blame them, lol. 5. Agreed. In DAI's defense, however, its character creator was top notch in every way but that.

Also why are the inquisition forces fighting darkspawn they would be infected by them. 3. Sure I understand it's not any of those titles but I feel DA:I fail it processors when it comes to more mature content. I found personally feel DA:I to Disney made. It's the difference of seeing Interview with the vampire or Blood: The Last Vampire 4. They talk they never do even if I roleplay my elf into absolute hater of Andraste yet I was forced on this path bad game chooses to design it like this. As for the rest it's not critique consider it's already released long ago. It's just feedback for future releases of DA.

You're confusing being a random jerk to actually playing as an evil character like you could in the last 2 games. You simply cannot play as a bad Inquisitor who cuts deals with demons, kills innocents for their own gain, allows people to die because it would benefit them, and kills or tortures people just because they got in your way. Go back and play Origins or DA2 as a evil character, and you'll see what I mean. You constantly get evil choices in those games. You can let your cousin be raped all night first few pieces of gold in the City Elf Origin. In Inquisition you can sometimes make a mean remark like you showed in the video above. It's not the same.

Imshael and the abomination in Jaws of Hakkon. I've made an evil run of all 3 games so I have a pretty good idea about it. Sure you cannot be as evil as in you were in Origins but the role playig flexibility of DAO doesn't exist anymore in any game.

I think a lot of it got cut from the game as the original concept art seemed to show some of the evil choices they intended. There was also early game footage that showed choices of defending your keep or defending the outlying village. It was all cut out.

You can let your cousin be raped all night first few pieces of gold in the City Elf Origin. In Inquisition you can sometimes make a mean remark like you showed in the video above. It's not the same. I thought the same thing as far as those videos, but that doesn't mean I agree with your larger point as far as playing an evil character. Or at least, I don't completely agree with it. I cut a deal with Imshael (leading to an exemplary knight's death) and killed all the Sentinel elves in my last playthrough. And I would have killed the merchant who'd made the mistake of buying Dorian's amulet and using it to blackmail him (which I had the option to do) except that it would have ended the romance... so instead, I made the decision to trick him into thinking he was getting what he demanded as his price for it, which effectively meant I was getting it for free. I also considered using Cullen's soldiers to bully the people who'd made supplies for my Tempest concoctions into dealing with me despite a recent accident which led to them wondering how safe the supplies were to handle. I think I proved that the accident was due to them being misused instead, but the point remains that I didn't have to do that; I could have bullied people into making what they believed to be dangerous business transactions. Then there's my first playthrough, where I allowed Heir to kill a man for no other reason than because the woman he was supposed to marry wanted to marry someone else; as far as I know he'd done nothing to actually deserve being killed. There was also my second playthrough, where I allowed Ser to train more templars for the Inquisition and didn't allow Cullen to prove that the addiction their powers come with can be broken. (I also did the Imshael thing in my second playthrough, but lets not retread that ground.) I acknowledge that there's less opportunity to be villain in this game than there was in DA:O, but there are opportunities. You just need to look for them. 2 Key motivations of factions, serious graywardens would never do that after the blight just ended. Sorry this was like we need to add gray wardens do something stupid we add this. What would serious Grey Wardens have done in the situation Clarel's men believed themselves to be in, then?

There was also early game footage that showed choices of defending your keep or defending the outlying village. It was all cut out. It may be because they couldn't have made it before the release date. I don't know I have never seen that concept arts. Playing an evil character is very important for me in RPGs and I always try it. If you weren't able to play evil I wouldn't have defended it in the first place. That's why my reaction for MEA was to swear at the screen after 30 mins because of all the nice answer choices

I surely hope so. They set him up in DA2. Then DAI came and it was a big fat raspberry. Don't get me wrong it was nice to see Dagna, but, I prefer Sandal and his pa.

Why couldn't my Inquisitor dance with Celene instead of Billy Idol? Why couldn't my Inquisitor be cheering the crowd on just before chopping off someone's head? Why couldn't my mage Inquisitor wear robes? Why wasn't there a fade-touched dragon hide item? 10% chance to activate dragon scream causing enemies to be stunned within 15m. Why wasn't there curly hair? Why wasn't there an option to have fake Warden wear a jester outfit?

Entertainment value. The game is boring.
I prefer the settings without sexism and racism, b/c there is plenty to go around in real world, and I want something different, and a focus on different problems, etc. I liked how the spiritual believes were integrated into the entire DA franchise, imo was its highlight. Agree on hair, hair is awful. And, overall, character appearances are dreadful, particularly the NPCs imo.

Probably because Celene is deemed "too important" for such a thing, not to mention the whole "dancing with the villain" thing. 2.Good question 3.Good question 4.Good question 5.Helmet Clipping 6.Good question

In answer to the original OP.
1) There was racism in the game but it was more subtle than previously. It was very apparent at the Winter Palace if you played a non-human character. My main issue was that you couldn't challenge it fully or you would risk failing the mission, so you had to grin and bear it. Got my revenge in putting an elf over them with their precious Chevalier Emperor as her puppet.
2) Many people were unhappy with the portrayal of the Grey Wardens. It wasn't the fact that they were prepared to use blood magic or sacrifice their own; that seemed perfectly in keeping with the Warden mentality. It was the stupidity of all but one of them (your contact) failing to question why everyone was suddenly hearing the Calling. Why summoning a demon army and going in search of the arch demon in the Deep Roads was a good plan (demons may not eat but they can be eliminated)? In fact why they didn't pick up on the fact that the false calling was not coming from the Deep Roads. Also the fact that the arrangement of Clarel being in charge in Ferelden and having to request Teagan's permission (not the monarch) to enter the place ignored everything that happened in Awakening. Basically the whole Grey Warden plot was a mess.
3) Whilst the Inquisitor may not have been able to do things as evil as in previous games, other people could, so it was hardly Disney (see above blood sacrifice for an example). The fact is that if the Inquisitor was too evil people just wouldn't work with them, or the more upright members of the Inquisition would have taken them in hand. You can still close rifts when you are in chains - look how Solas forced you to close the rift the first time. They weren't to know that Corypheus would open up the Breach again, so after you closed it, you could effectively be held under house arrest whilst people issued orders in your name. So I think the writers thought it would be simpler just not to let you do anything too shocking.
4) The explanation for why they would allow a non-human Inquisitor was covered in conversation. Essentially the Maker moves in mysterious ways his wonders to perform. Where they made a real mistake was in allowing the possibility for a mage, Vivienne, to be made Divine. She should never even have been on the ballot sheet given Chantry teaching on such matters, let alone people vote for her. That really spoilt the credibility of their fictional religion for me.
5) Absolutely agree. I want to go back to the variety of styles we had in DAO and DA2. Also I see nothing wrong in having some styles that are gender specific. The unisex look may work with the ME setting but it seemed wrong to me in Thedas and some styles did not seem to look right on certain genders. Somehow they just didn't seem to fit the face shape. Also far too many bald/buzz cut options.

-puts on tinfoil hat- Um, that's because good sir that the Omnisexual, Pansexual, and Gender Fluid people would probably prefer more equal and less patriarchal options. /s

2 Key motivations of factions, serious graywardens would never do that after the blight just ended. Sorry this was like we need to add gray wardens do something stupid we add this. What would serious Grey Wardens have done in the situation Clarel's men believed themselves to be in, then? First let me put the obvious first, Demons and darkspawn are not the same a arch demon (is not a demon) it's a fallen god or so they claimed or just a corrupt dragon. Wardens only hear the calling if a Arch demon is in play and not even all of them, so if all of them are called and they arrive at this place imagine this. Yo bob you hear the calling? John, yea me to but I not seeing a blight! This is weird. A hour later Jan arrives and look at John and bob and say's this is weird I get the calling. See how unbelievable stupid this plot line is?. And then the whole group of the Inquisitor can fight darkspawn without getting infested sorry it's just trashed can on the own game lore.

I can't see them going back as far as DA:O. The whole franchise shifted in time, costuming, attitudes and themes significantly more than could have been expected based on the timeline, circumstances and geography. It will move to Tevinter as well (or so we suspect), so chances are, we'll be seeing a new set of ideas somewhat loosely based on previous lore.
The GW subplot is one of the lowest points in the storyline, beginning to end, and, hilariously, seems to be artificially hammered into the game to bring back in the characters from DA:O and DA2. I'd rather they would have avoided it.

Imshael and the abomination in Jaws of Hakkon. I've made an evil run of all 3 games so I have a pretty good idea about it. Sure you cannot be as evil as in you were in Origins but the role playig flexibility of DAO doesn't exist anymore in any game. I just don't see it. I think a lot of it got cut from the game as the original concept art seemed to show some of the evil choices they intended. There was also early game footage that showed choices of defending your keep or defending the outlying village. It was all cut out. DAI is so huge in scope, things had to be cut out if they wanted a realistic release date, lol

Generally speaking, you can't be as cartoonishly evil as the Warden, but there are some pretty evil actions that can be taken. For instance, if you're romancing Dorian, you can outright murder the merchant who has his amulet.
As for the racism, it's there. You're just not paying attention.
