Anyone else getting sock it to me'd with Respecs lately?
Before last Thursday:
101 Advanced Packs, 6 Respecs
Starting last Thursday:
41 Advanced Packs, 13 Respecs (additional, not total)
>5x drop rate seems out of range of just RNG. Wondering if they made some stealth change. It isn't due to filling out any particular set (still have UC characters and weapons open)

Wish they'd increase the drop rate in P/R/A packs. I play around with different builds constantly, so at any given time I've got 2-3 characters I want to respec and only one (or none) in hand.

looks like i need to open advanced packs. wasted 15 mf on one. Pretty much this. Before the weekly store equipment and rotating N7 characters/weapons, I didn't have a need to save MF. Now, I want to save it, and am really hesitant to use my few remaining respecs I usually just open Platinum packs, and the chances to get a respec from those is slim. It's frustrating how the system works. Most of the Uncommon tier weapons have little to no use. However, an XX Uncommon character, is very valuable. |

I'm at a point where I have I believe 40, I stopped counting at 34 and have gotten many since then. |

Yeah, you get a respecs, just as you get (low) boosters and consumables. I currently have 64 respecs and I don't use them that often, so I'd say they don't keep dropping forever, like consumables do, for instance...

They don't monetize it, too much sh** is locked behind them, and most stuff from it is too damn expensive for how long it takes to accumulate them. |

Once you got most characters to lvl 20, (5-10 cards short) you want to skip advanced packs and work on your golds and ur cards. You receive uncommons in expert and PAR packs enough to max out the important uncommons, without spending too much money on them.
Sure, there are some decent silver weapons, but golds are more worth your credits.
On the surplus of respecs: use them. The lesser you have the fewer they seem to drop, at least for me. Have some fun exploring other builds, there are definitely some surprises to be found.

Some very, very quick and dirty math shows I have received 40 Respec cards in about 470 packs spread across all different types (Basics, Supplies, up through P/A/Rs). That doesn't seem excessive to me.
Can do more detailed breakdown later but need to get ready for Twitch stream salad eating.

Supplies 0 respecs / 11 packs = 0%
Basics 7 / 97 = 7%
Advanced 1 / 12 = 8%
Experts 8 / 56 = 14%
Premium 14 / 163 = 9%
Arsenal 2 / 30 = 7%
Reserves 8 / 85 = 9%
P/A/R subtotal 24 / 278 = 9%
GRAND TOTAL (all packs combined) 40 / 454 = 9%
Still doesn't seem excessive to me. If the rate was lower people would be complaining about not getting enough of them!
