lol made my own gold game lobby and just got kicked from it

Since a an update or two ago when I've finally got very experienced with my Kineticist (primary), I've never kicked anyone from a run (on Gold or less) unless the rest and I have been waiting for a while, and it's one of those times during the day when there's very little groups to join. Your afk then at that point basically holds everyone up, and I'm usually very patient, so if there's kicking involved, you've been away for many minutes and nothing was done (no booster changes, no equipment change, no weapon change, nothing). Fortunately, most of the time the person can find their way back in as not many groups on anyway at that point, so they don't lose out unless they're REALLY away for a long while and we're well into out second match after booting them.

Otherwise, I feel for you OP. Level 1, Rank 1, low APEX rating, aren't we all going to have a Rank 1 Level 1 when we get our new characters next released? (C'mon... please, please, please let it be the Commando!)

If you've been kicked, you get a notification of such no? If you went straight back to menu or character screen, likely is you failed a connection to the server. Had that happen a few times.

I think it depends wholly on the experience had by the group if they kick a low level player. No one is obliged to carry someone through a gold and if experience has seen a low level or three die many times in previous games then that memory stays with people. I have no problem with low level kicks as silver and bronze is there for a reason and I for one don't take the mickey with my low level characters if I am levelling them up. Some people just think it their god given right to do what the hell they want when they want and join a gold EXPECTING to be carried. And that just breeds chaos

If I have the manners to play bronze and silver when I am over 30k apex on my level 1 xx then so should others. Disagree? That's fine but I would much rather a smooth game than revive revive revive all the time

*shrug* i suppose i can see your point, thing is i dont need to play silver or bronze, i beat all the level 20's as a level 1, ESPECIALLY this time with this crazy ass bat. scrapper. class is feckin OP. i always max out the shields and health tree first and then respec later if its not how i want it. maybe i go down once? twice maybe. often not at all.

i give people a chance, like everyone should. few times i looked at a guy im like man that gun sucks ass... going into platinum but then they do well and sometimes beat me, i forget that they buffed all the shitty ones i wrote off on never using again.

Joined a Gold game hosted by an APEX 384 Duelist I/ lvl 1 / Charger I/Katana I just now. Started out with another PUG. Someone joined in later. Duellist helped out with objectives and healing; scored almost 10'000 points, which is more than acceptable given the disadvantage; didn't extract, unfortunately, got tangled up with krobros seconds just outside the circle with seconds to go. Did need healing as expected, but not frequently compared to other PUGs. Went fine. Took 15:31 to complete; quite acceptable. All in all, good game.

Don't see the problem letting people play. If douchebag or not fun somehow, I can just quit and find someone else.

Kicking IS the considerate thing to do. If someone isn't readying up because they're doing house keeping it doesn't make sense to a) make everyone else wait and/or make everyone else find a new lobby. Dude doesn't want to play yet? Fine it doesn't affect him at all that he can not-play outside of the lobby. We'll start with three and he can rejoin when he's ready. I've been left hanging in too many lobbies for 10 minutes at a time because someone decided he had to go AFK to drop a deuce while the rest of us waited with our thumbs up our asses. I give people an appropriate amount of time and if everyone readys up really quickly I give them a bit more for a trip to the shop, a quick level up and gearing. If I, personally need more time than that I leave. Everyone else should too.

All that being said, you're right it probably WAS a level issue. I got kicked once tryimg to bring a level 8 XX Asari adept to a gold match. As soon as I entered the lobby buddy comes on the mic and says "kick that guy he won't be any help". It was even an Outlaw Zero match. I came pretty close to sending him a screenshot of me at the top of the leaderboard in my next match but figured I shouldn't rub it in since he probably failed his run.

Were you wearing a mic? If not that's a kickable offence to some. If so, was it making some horrendous noise, also kickable. Did you have low signal strength? I'd probably kick you for that.

Got myself kicked during wave 5 on the gold apex mission this morning. Had bad lag to the host so I died more than I should. But we were blasting through the waves so I think that kick was a tad uncalled for.
