Dragon Age: Kirkwall Coffee - Ep 1 (Modern AU)

I liked most of the cast — the girl playing Garrett is pretty funny — but it took me a while to figure out that was supposed to be Carver.

I know Carver was as bland as dry toast, but put on a sleeveless shirt at least.

Ahahahaha this just made my day It's ridiculously good. Hopefully we can meet the other characters in the following episodes.

I'm not really into Hawke/Fenris or Carver/Merrill, but the show is nonetheless pretty awesome. The person playing Aveline is like a carbon copy of the in-game Aveline, and the Merrill even kinda looks like Eve Myles. And it's hilarious that Hawke and Carver are played by girls.

"What's your opinion on wine?"

I first discovered these guys via their "My Fair Sera" video, they seriously crack me up.

"People call me the Champion of Kirkwall, but you can call me tonight"

I don't know what I love most, the hilariously cheesy chat-up line or that it sounds so much like something Hawke would actually say?

This series is great even though it features two of my least favourite pairings: Hawke/Fenris and Carver/Merrill

I'm pretty sure Hawke and Fenris are having some whine tasting rather than wine tasting

I want other characters as well! Kirkwall is nothing without Varric and Izzy!

Well, she did nearly blow up her own coffee shop...


Can see why Aveline really  wants to help her sort out the insurance on that place.

And with Hawke getting involved and courting disaster at every turn, the blame will inevitably fall on him instead of her.

It's the perfect crime! Aveline, you evil minx!

That's the best one yet! I laughed, I almost cried...awesome

This series never fails to make me laugh. Especially the most recent episode. I was actually guffawing. ANDERS, FENRIS LOLOLL

Anyone else starting to like canon!Carver more after seeing this AU version?

I'm starting to think if we'd seen the events of DA2 from Carver's perspective, he'd come across as equally sympathetic and likeable as this one. Whereas Hawke would be a thoughtless douche with a raging libido, who casually intrudes and interferes with everyone's business and constantly mocks their younger sibling at every available opportunity.

Never thought I'd say this... but damn, Carver's got a point? When playing DA2, maybe we're the arsehole?!

I've always thought Carver was the bestest little bro, so nothing has changed for me.
