No More Patches/Content for MEA (Single Player)

Some people here seem to think producing DLC has no cost and companies can just pump some out on a whim.

Get a reality check people.

Sure they know it costs money. Shit they were ready to pay for it, after all. Thing is, producing nothing may have some cost of its own. Creating a big title with lots of unresolved threads, then relegating its follow-up to an entirely different medium is not a good look. 

LOL, you think that would go over well? "That's not how I played it! My Shepard would never have chosen that ending! This isn't Mass Effect, it's garbage!"

If you don't know that this is how it would play out, regardless of the ending chosen, you're an idiot. Bioware, or should I say EA-ware, have guaranteed that no matter what they do with Mass Effect now, they're going to piss off a significant portion of their fanbase. Not that they care about their fans anymore.

They have completely fucked this up. I don't see how any of their customers can expect future products to be treated any better than this now. Anthem will probably be abandoned less than 6 months after release because of the people, like me, who refuse to give it a chance for various reasons, including "Anthem killed Mass Effect." Dragon Age 4 will suffer fallout from this as well, since I don't think we can trust Bioware not to abandon that game prematurely. Bioware is dead, Mass Effect it dead, EA-ware has taken over.

MODS: Delete my account. Anytime it's convenient will work. It was several days before I was allowed to use it, so it can lie abandoned for several days before you delete it.

Whatever DLC they could have released would just have reignited the meme-train, regardless of its quality.  I think this is just a case of EA wanting to sweep Andromeda under the rug and forget it ever happened.  They don't want that negativity associated with Bioware and Anthem.

Umm, they do.  That's why when a game gets shit reviews and is ridiculed online, it's successor performs much worse.  Do you need me to start naming examples?

I was referencing non-user reviews.  Although it's definitely been ridiculed online by users.  There's nothing to stop you or anyone else that loves it from giving it a 10.  If you'll notice, most of the positive reviews that are 9's or 10's are actually almost universally prefaced with "I'm giving this game a 10 to balance out the stupid 0's!"  It goes both ways.
