So then people should boycott Marvel then because of their stingers at the end of the movies which tease at what is going to happen in future movies? Thinking there will be DLC and feeling BioWare owes people DLC are two different things. They left hooks in the game, but they are not obligated to address them and frankly there is no proof that DLC would have even touched the Quarian hooks that were in the game, for all we know those were hooks for a sequel and not DLC. Just like when Shepard walks away from the council at the end of ME1, or speech at the end of Mass Effect 2 where I was left with the feeling of a cliff hanger and "to be continued" feeling attached. Your acting like they said they are going to make Andromeda 2 but yet to see evidence to that. The statement they made sounded like a Bioware/EA we give up move. Not what I was saying at all, my comment was towards the comment the Quarian tie-ins felt like it was going to become DLC where there was no proof of that. It might have been designed to be a tie-in for a future game, but that doesn't mean it would have happened either.

Books are to accompany a game, they make less money overall than DLC. They'd -NEVER- make a massive ingame tease for something like the Quarian ark specifically to make it a book. They abandoned their plans for it. It's simple.

I think we need to be heard louder so cancel your EA access and/or Origin access sub's and do not buy anything from EA or any of its publishers. We need to remind the big game companies it's the Gameer that make them not there, stockholders as we made them what they are and we can put them out of business as well. If I was not clear I meant that I will not support them untell we can get there commitment on SP DLC and Andromeda 2 Good luck with that. Gamers have spoke loud and clear that they did not like what was in Andromeda. Maybe it was a majority, maybe it was just the loudest voices, maybe it was just the trolls, but EA looking at the information and the data they have made their decision based on that data and their data has told them DLC for Andromeda just would not be profitable. So, I can't blame them for that choice considering I do not have access to the data they do.

This is a joke right?
You were given a game for your money with at least a hundred hours of content, whether you enjoyed that content is another story. But, EA/BioWare provided you with a full game. They have no obligation to give you any further DLC or a sequel. I'm also glad they chose not to give Montreal another chance to screw up the series.

Really they should've never had the massive tease for the quarian ark post-ending. That made it feel a lot like there would be more content. It was a poor move.

Personally I think EA made the right decision. I'd rather see ME die than having BW produce a MEA2 or anymore SP content for Andromeda. I thought the game was a disgrace to the franchise.

If you want more Mass Effect, make your own version of it, be inspired that way. Otherwise the threats and decrees to boycott a company for doing their job is just self gratification.

OP, I don't think a boycott will be enough. We should fire EA and BW, now!

It seems to me that a boycott would make getting another game even less likely.

To be honest a "full boycott" of EA just reminded me of all the people that said the exact same thing over Origin when the issues with Valve happened. EA is still exclusively on Origin and if they were losing money I bet they would have gone back to Steam.

They have had good growth the last few years, despite some up and down moments, mostly due to digital sales on origin and ea access. And dlc. EA is also spending that cash on new development tech, some 80 to 100 million a year goes to that.
