Autumn is my favorite season, though winter would be my runner-up. There are no wrong answers. I am only curious to see what the most liked season is.

Autumn by far. Beautiful changeable weather, comfortable temperatures, its the time of harvest, colorful leafs, preparations, reflection, change and beautiful melancholy.

Spring because it's warm, but you don't have to mow the lawn as often as in the summer.

The death of summer, Fall. In the northern USA the days become more overcast and the temperature is cooler, just the way I like my days.

Here in Canada we have: Winter, almost winter, still winter, and summer.
Though I would have to with spring because it's a good balance of temperature and winter is coming to an end, and at that point I'm probably sick of winter.

Luckily I live in a part of Canada that rarely sees snow. Bout once or twice a year, tops.
I love spring. Autumn feels like death to me. Everything dying around me. Don't like the colours of autumn. Red, orange, yellow. All my least favourite colours.
I like seeing the new growth, greenery sprouting, fauna starting to awaken. I usually have more energy in the spring.

I'm pretty fond of winter because all the fucking insects go away, and I don't have to worry about finding a spider or cockroach in my bathroom at 4 in the morning.

I thought seasons in Canada were Winter, some gnats, lots of gnats, less gnats. Similar to Sweden with Winter, less winter, lots of gnats, almost winter.

The season without swamp ass.
I'd say Spring is pretty great, but Fall/Autumn is my favorite because I really enjoy cooking and baking in Fall more than in other seasons.

Interesting, here in Argentina (in my province) we have summer, awful summer, pseudo-summer, and autumn. Have fun with the average 80% humidity, I thank every day I don't have to use air conditioner. We have about 1 month tops of actual cold here, with average 10ºC which ain't that cold to begin with. I don't joke when I say I hate this province. It's not the worst place to live in though (and that's scary if you think about it), there are at least 2 more provinces that are much worse in terms of heat and overall climate.

Don't get me started... how many times my slept was interrupted by those nasty abominations of hell. Chasing cockroaches at 3 in the morning is everything but fun. Worst part is that they're like cats: sleep all day and at night is when the party starts...

Autumn! I love the cool weather, slightly darker days and nights, quietness, leaves falling. It's the most soothing time of the year and Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. I also like Spring as well; trees and plants blooming, temperature's warm but not too hot and the exhaustion from winter is remedied. I don't mind winter as long as there's some snow.

I'd probably like autumn most if it was like I see in pretty pictures, but since here it's just the time when everything gets damp, cold (this cold moist air freezes your butt better than freezing temperatures) and ugly I vote for spring. Especially with the past few winters when we have had basically no snow in south it's just such a relief when spring comes. Winter with snow and not too cold temperatures is ok-ish, now it seems it just gets pitch black dark for 8 months - either raining constantly or sudden freezing temperatures with no snow. I'm a hermit that loves the nighttime but that's just pushing it.. Summer is something that doesn't happen here so can't really vote for that. Like this "summer" there was couple warm days on May and couple on August, so basically you just spent all winter waiting for a summer and then at some point you realize it's already winter again so you start waiting again

Autumn, I like most things about it. Pumpkin pie on occasion, hot cider (I buy 3-4 boxes of instant cider, and have it all year round), sweater weather, thanksgiving, even watching the leaves change (though actually raking them, sucks).
The only think I don't like about Autum is Halloween. Purely for the horror aspect of it.

Summer obviously, when you only have like 3 warm months per year, you better love the hell of out it when you get it.
Winter is second but even then it's when it's a proper winter with -20 to -30 celcius and snow everywhere, I don't like the in between seasons. Stop being silly, be summer or winter, don't be something in the middle.

Autumn, of course. Relief from the summer's heat at last, some actual weather after summer's boring stillness, it isn't too bright to sleep at night and there's lots of seasonal fruit like peaches. A little later, even with the most unruly weather an almost spiritual quiet sets in that renews the wellspring of creativity and lets the soul settle down, supported by the unique beauty of autumn leaves and lakes, rivers and brooks that start refilling. Also, last but not least, the next summer is a long way off. No November depression for me!
Winter is second. I love the cracking cold even though it's become rare in my country, damn climate change to hell. The air has a refreshing quality and it's the only season where it's never too warm for me.
Spring is nice too, with beautiful spring growth and quite nice changeable weather, though overshadowed by the threat of the summer following it (I really feel that way).
Summer....can just go away. Really, fuck summer! I can't stand the heat which in recent years can get close to a hellish 40°C. The only relief is swimming, but a working man can't spend the whole day submersed in water. Ever since the hellish summer of 2003, with seven continuous weeks at over 30°C, I await summer with dread each year.

I live in (central) Florida, so there's only two seasons: summer and spring. I pick spring because it gives me an excuse to run in cold-ish weather.

All I have is a small desk fan sitting on a chair behind me. It makes the couple of weeks in the middle of the summer where it can get to 35+ rather annoying since I lack any proper AC. I spent a few months in Australia a while ago where summer might as well be renamed "everything I love is melting".

I spent a few months in Australia a while ago where summer might as well be renamed "everything I love is melting". I always had the impression that my province and Australia are very similar when it comes to weather. 10 years ago you didn't need an air conditioner, you really didn't, heat wasn't' that bad. But now with the global warming you truly cannot live without one here. I remember once here where I live, the electricity went out for exactly 23 hours and 55 minutes, was in bloody summer to make it even worse. At night I couldn't fucking sleep at all . I grabbed the pillow and tried to sleep on the floor, and even then I couldn't. There was like 38ºC outside, at night. I think that was the worst night of my life, waking up every 5 minutes. In general, I don't like extremes, nor heat nor cold. But I learned to hate heat with a passion through the years.

Temperatures are moderate all year round here, it has been decades since we experienced harsh winters. Hot summers are slightly more frequent though. Personally I like the transitional period between Autumn and Winter, you get the nice cold temperatures without the heavy rain and/or snow ( if any that year ). Plus it also means Christmas is near
