Didn't see in the list: is there a way to clear your console message stack (i.e. previously used commands)?

I tend to open the console and use the direction arrows to re-enter a command, rather than type it out. Sometimes I entered it wrong and end out selecting that one. Or I have to scroll through a bunch of "say gg" messages.

Scroll all the way down and find [SFXConsole] section and you should have history there. Delete it and VOILA.
