Playing TW2 on console...for shame. But yeah, this is the biggie. Choose and live with it. I'm not playing on a console. I'm playing on my PC with a game pad. I have severe pain if at a keyboard and mouse for more than half an hour. Good. I'm partially teasing. It's so ugly on console.

So now I'm in the body of a guy named Stennis and I've met Saskia. Is Stennis the son of the King that died in the intro cinematic? Saskia

I hung it up for the night. That was a lot of stuff. Cedric died and made me cry, I sided elves, fought a fellow Witcher, saved some non humans during a death riot, Triss got kidnapped. Freed the barge, saved the elven women. Then had an out of body experience to see what it was like to be Stennis and allow Saskia to run things. Blood magic. A wraith battle walk and arriving in Vergen. The crying bit did wear me out. Also, Annoying- I'd actually finished that stupid nekker contract by association of going through the woods so often. Hadn't turned it in and when I agreed to help Iorveth all the contracts failed. So ya. Till tomorrow.

Wow Phoray another bad choice. Now now, Smiles. There is no good or bad. Just a choice. You'll take back those words later. Well, Saskia seems fond of him, and I like her so.. by default, he gets my approval. Saskia is a bad ass. Too bad she ain't romanceable. That's right, no bad choices in the Witcher world.. it all is just .... Also, no Saskia in TW3, other mistake..

That was an entertaining read! All the things are about to start happening now That's kinda scary to read, as the game has already made me cry from the killing of an NPC. I am wondering this morning in the shower whether or not my plan to go barge first, trading post later, actually saved everyone on the barge from being sank and we arrive at the Trading Post later to find out we saved no one

If it's any consolation, had you chosen Roche's path things might have played out differently, but still just as dark and fucked up I just felt like Roche had gotten embroiled in local politics and forgotten our main job was to find the Kingslayer. Or maybe I'd misunderstood that this was never his #1 goal. So, the way I look at it, he and I were as one in our goal until that "Crossroads". Iorveth knew about the Kingslayers and he was ready to act "now" not after he'd done a handful of other things. Geralt and I are intent on the Kingslayer not only to clear our names but to save Triss. And LAredo is just another pissant human we don't have time for. So I respect Roche but we part ways. And my siding Squirrels didn't have much to do in my belief of a Non Human Nation State coming into existence. That sounded cool, but it wasn't my reasoning.

Log in. Clever Dwarf shows me to my quarters. I am inundated with dwarven anti human sentiments when I walk in. Pff. Racism both sides, you're all the same bag of dicks.
Anyway, first things first is to put off the War Council for something far more important.
Fist fights for money!!!
Sadly, they aren't much harder, and I quickly get challenged by a noble brat. I trounce him just as easily as the rest (and am disappointed by that, I assure you.) He is very upset by the loss and I ponder if I should have let the poodle win when he promises retribution. Local politics being unknown to me.
Onwards.

So, during that cinematic where Saskia and co drink, I said juuuuust before her cup turned green that they would all become poisoned, not actually expecting that prediction to become partially true. So, after that, I get the LOTR reference and a whole list of things I gotta do. Then I go around trying to find the arm wrestling people and get... sort of lost. I never did find them. So then I selected Royal Blood quest but then couldn't find Stennis either. So then I ran into an armor guy who called me grumpy who has some sweet dragon armor for 3k orens. I already have 1600 orens so I go back to the Inn to do ten fights in a row, I guess. Then this ass scratching elf gives me the Flickering Heart quest. I already know what the problem is the second Geralt asks if the victims are all male. Cuz when I was shopping, that sorceress chick had a book on succubi. So, guess I'll just go do ten fights to get teh rest of my monies and then actually try to find these damn quests in this crazy mountain town.
