Yes. Is that so hard to grasp? It's really not all that different from the state of things three months ago, there's just no longer any hope or pretense that there'll be some dramatic turnaround. Tis what tis. I just don't understand then why everyone who has no fucks left, only sitting around just to hassle those with only a hint of maybe a modicum of a fuck left, just leaves then. We all just killing time here til destiny 2 and battlefront 2? A lot of the time players care about cheating because it directly affects their ability to have fun. Wall hacks and aim bots give players an unfair advantage in competitive games. The rocket glitch trivialized the rest of the team (and any use of consumables). Artificially boosting N7 or APEX levels, on the other hand, doesn't directly affect the fun (or lack there of) that I experience playing MEA. That isn't to say that it doesn't bug me. As you mentioned this player seems to be blatantly cheating out in the open. But morale values aside, there's no real point to expending mental energy on this. The devs already have their hands tied with respect to how much they can affect the game at this point. Most of the player base has moved on. Those who have remained have about as much enthusiasm for the game as Garfield has for Mondays. So someone artificially boosting themselves to #1 doesn't really have a large effect in the grand scheme of things. I'm not trying to say your point of view is invalid. I'm just trying to explain that this instance of cheating has been met with apathy because 1) this kind of cheating doesn't have a direct impact on co-op PVE and 2) the player base has largely moved on at this point.

Leaderboards? Oh, E-Peen-O-Meter, I get it. Couldn't care less. It's not about e-peen bitching, not that anyone will believe me, it's just the fact that it's cheating as obvious as day. Like rank x UR variants a week after 1.09. But good to know that all fucks have been given up here. I didn't mean to insult you, sorry. Increasing my Challenge Rating in ME3MP by playing all kits and weapons periodically gave me a lot of joy without aiming for top places, but I do get the satisfaction gained by being on the top. It's just the fact that wherever there's leaderboards there will be cheaters (the "e-peen-guys") abusing system loopholes to score first place effortlessly, thus making your entire effort somewhat moot. That's simply why I personally never care about leaderboards. Me and my friends still care about MEA:MP and play it almost every evening, but the fact that there'll soon be nothing new coming because of the support deadline just makes you care a lot less about everything.
