I'm just trying to figure out where it should go in the timeline. I've added a comment about that. I've made a response to your question. Basically, keep the discovery about the Mortalitasi to Day 3. Also, I've remembered that at some point our patient needs to revive, so may be that could happen on the morning of Day 4, leaving Scrib to his own devices, which is when he discovers a reference to what might be down in the crypt but he keeps this from Issala. |

TIMELINE OF EVENTS phoray ; riverdaleswhiteflash ; Colour key: Pink - already posted. Green - still to come. Blue - extra detail. Day 1: Opening ceremony. Grand reception. Qunari delegates killed. Bann Sighard asked to investigate. Nominates Ellas to do it.
Day 2: Ellas inspects palace and interviews Lucius. Issala conducts experiments on evidence. Durk recruited to investigate through his contacts. Emmerline hides out at circus. Sabina tells Ellas. Go to the circus in the evening, follow Emmerline to docks. Attack by Dark Sun.
Day 3: Ellas discovers about owl. Gets permission from Vivienne for Issala and Lucius to conduct research at the Sun Dome. Discover one of the Kal-Sharok dwarves has been killed in mysterious circumstances. Issala goes to the Sun Dome. Ellas competes in the first rounds of joust. Issala reports his findings (Day 1 of journal: Discovery about Tenebris in roof of Sun Dome.)
Day 4: Sabina spars with Gabrielle and then has lunch with her. Issala spends time at Sun Dome. Ellas spends time watching the afternoon’s events. Issala joins him. Return to camp to discuss findings on Day 2 of journal: Connection between Dark Sun and Mortalitasi seems confirmed, also connection between Lusacan, god of shadows, and Falon’Din, god of the dead. Start to suspect that the Dark Sun may have something big planned linked to the Tourney. Sabina calls to report her findings. Emmerline awakens but has amnesia. Tylus Anaxas makes contact with Lucius.Day 5: Ellas competes in last sixteen and quarter finals of joust. Issala reports back on Day 3 of his investigation: In particular the significance of eclipses to the Dark Sun. I think River that you have done Issala's journal entry for today, which is Day 3 of the investigation. (I have this saved from where we discussed it). We just needed to work on his conversation with Ellas in the evening. This will prompt Ellas to make a tour of the city at night as a cat with Argos the mabari. Ellas and Argos find an entrance to an underground meeting place with many dark robed figures entering. He hears their password. Sabina is focused on following the exploits of Markham, her son and has been invited to join Bann Sighard in his box but also calling in on Emmerline to see how she progresses. However, this could just be dealt with as Sabina looking back on the events of the day. Sabina receives a dinner invitation from Arhrenthal and Gabrielle for the following eveningDay 6: Final rounds of several events, including sword and shield in which Markham is taking part, so Sabina is at the arena. Ellas takes part in the final rounds of the joust. He spots Sabina and asks, in disguise if he may carry her favour. He gets to the final when he reveals his identity and declares who he is fighting for. He invites Sabina to join them in their celebrations back at camp. In the Sun Dome, Lucius makes a discovery in the records about an artifact concealed in the building that is a relic of cult of Lusacan. He keeps this information from Issala but guesses it might be significant to the Mortalitasi and a bargaining tool should they seek to double cross him. Issala reports his findings, including that the eclipse is predicted to take place on the morrow. Ellas decides he needs to make Emmerline remember what she knows (another spirit spell, not blood magic) as they are convinced the Dark Sun have something planned for the final day of the tourney. Sabina is not happy about this. Does she stay to give support to Emmerline or immediately leave in disgust, using her prior dinner engagement with Gabrielle and her father as the excuse? Either way Ellas would ask her to warn Lord Arhrenthal that they have concerns about the final ceremony and that he will be contacting him. When Sabina leaves the dinner she is kidnapped by the Dark Sun.Day 7: This is the final day of the tourney with just the Grand Melee to decide who wins the hammer and the Closing Ceremony straight after. However, this will mean that the arena is packed and all the important people will be present, including Prince Ferdinand. Ellas warns Lord Arhrenthal there could be trouble and so extra guards are posted at the arena, with all spectators being checked on their way in. Sabina intended to be at the arena as she will be concerned for the safety of her son but is missing. Although Ellas may not be aware of why she has been watching events, he will notice her absence. Meanwhile, Tylus Anaxas is also absent; he is waiting for the eclipse to make his move on the Sun Dome. He has Sabina with him. |
