Shadows over Nevarra: The Grand Tourney (OOC)

This is Lord Forsard Malecot, a Chevalier and one of the leading hopes for Orlais. He is a veteran of the Grand Tourney having competed at the last one held before the 5th Blight, where he won the joust, and also at lesser tourneys held in Orlais since then. As a current champion, he has not been required to compete in the qualifying rounds but automatically gets a place in the final sixteen. Thus he is not bothered about the presence of the Bronto as it is on the other side of the draw so he would not expect to meet it until the final and is confident he can deal with it should it get that far. He will also be taking part in the sword and shield event against Deshyr Roshek Meino.  He and some other nobles are using their presence at the Grand Tourney to do some scheming away from the Orlesian Court without arousing suspicion among their enemies. One such person and his particular friend is:



Marquise Violette Papillon, a leading figure at the Orlesian Court. I have already mentioned her on the PM to Phoray. She is a determined opponent of Divine Victoria, does not approve of any of her changes but particularly those concerning elves, and has been one of the chief figures behind the assassination attempts on the Divine. She supported Gaspard in the civil war. She is here as guest of Grand Cleric Iona of Nevarra, who was aiming for the sunburst throne herself, disapproved of the Inquisition (both these bits of information were given in game in connection with a War Table mission) and is outraged by what Divine Leliana has done since taking office.



Comte Justin Pallier de Churneau of Orlais. Not a Chevalier but another one of the Marquise's allies. He will be taking part in the horse race.
