I don't even have the sova whatsitsface at all yet. Is it any good? Its better than the falcon, barely, but imo feels like how the falcon should feel. It feels like a Uncommon more than a UR. The bullets explode on impact and you can hit enemies behind cover by shooting at their feet. The AoE of the shots are like falcon/naladen/venom though, only enemies the AoE impacts are really destroyers. Unless your at a spawn might be better to try something else. •It stuns observer beams after a few shots •Gets AoE on crowded enemies for 289(?)Base Damage •Can land headshots (not sure if gets weakpoint damage, there is no concussive sovoa) •AoE is constant (as in doesn't weaken damage further an enemy is from explosion) so long as enemy gets hit by AoE they get full damage. •Not much recoil from hip or blind cover shooting.•RoF is capped at 200, more than likely because of no recoil. Even with turbocharge feels somewhat restricted. •For an UR damage is very low, not really a great option on gold without full ARifle and damage buff consumables support. •AoE on paper is nice but enemies in the game only will be hit by AoE during a spawn or when they are overwhelming you so bad you would want to use another weapon anyway. •Even at level 10 is 20 weight.... One of the heaviest weapons in the game.As you can see in the image with a comparison with base stats, the gun is completely overshadowed by the valkyrie*. Even compared with other AoE guns, its RoF is better, but damage lowkey. *AoE weapons in general are almost useless because unless your at a spawn or wait until enemies overwhelm you, your firing at 1 enemy at a time. When looking at weapon stats, mentally turn off the idea of there being AoE, and your getting 90% of the performance of the weapon, which is completely trash. Now if bioware increased AoEs by say 30% radius, we'd have a sexy game here.

In that case yuk, i tried the falcon the other day and I was not good with at all. Your experience with the Falcon may not translate to how much you like the Sovoa. Its damage is severely underwhelming, yes, but its mechanics aren't as divergent from most of the weapons in the game as the Falcon. More specifically, the Sovoa is hitscan. The biggest problem I generally saw most people have with the Falcon was shot placement. It has a definite earning curve. The Sovoa will consistently hit what you intend, just not as hard or as frequently as it should given its rarity.

Full-time job with minimum 15H OT +1.25h Total commute 1+3 Other peoples children Going to bed @ 9:30 EST Averaging 1-2h if that a night with 99% of the time PUG ONLY! Even less now since pugs are terrible and no one plays anymore and I STILL DID IT! There was no loot bloat, only people who played bronze all day! You guys owe Bioware an apology! Looking at all the UR collection, I feel like I haven't been playing enough. Since when have you been playing the game exactly ? I hope your response to this makes me feel good.

About a week after release. Started on bronze till I learned the enemy A.I. routine and jumped to gold soon as I got a good damage weapon. I emphasized the amount of time had per day to show that anyone with basically 1~2hrs of free time could get a full manifest. No money spent on packs and I pugged 99% of my games.

I'm fairly close to a "virtual" full manifest here as well (goal of Tier I for weapon variants), and I've spent 800 hours in multiplayer. Although I've got a similar APEX rating (~41k), I'm still further away from the same goal (think it's because I spent for my character kits; Kineticist at XX was my first XX UR).
Although I must say, the Elite/Gold Box with a pity timer on it for UR, did make things a lot easier at the start and helped kickstart the UR collection a lot more easily than someone starting anew now.

No money spent on packs and I pugged 99% of my games. wow first week after the release makes perfect sense if you spent around 2 hrs daily to get UR weapons's to rank 10 by now. Nice!!! This definitely made me feel better as I have been spending somewhat similar time recently. In my first month of purchase I did spend lot more time though lol. I picked the game in it's first discounted offer in beginning of June and I didn't really start playing multiplayer until mid-June. As being new to ME series I actually had no intention to play MP. But once I completed my first PT, I thought to give it a try and still enjoy it. I guess I am doing good so far considering below. Common and Uncommon - All maxed out including mods and mods variants Rare - Only Characters, Weapons and Mods (Not weapon and mod variants but getting there soon) UR - All characters to rank 10, Weapons not great progress don't even have all the weapons yet, but will get there eventually. And recently I worked on getting all the characters to level 20 as well, it was fun than playing same few character everyday. According to APEX HQ: around 320 hours in MP so far. On daily basis I just focus on doing everything that gives me mission funds and cannot be completed by strike teams which includes one apex platinum daily

The game is yours and playing (entertainment) is why you play. Completing your manifest is just something that happens along the way. If you can get as many friends so you always have a full competent lobby. Only thing I regret is that I spent so much time pugging I alienated people on my origin list. Half the people I don't even remember why they are there...
