I hope this game is a huge success. We need another major RPG studio. So far there are only 2 studios that I think make great RPGs. For me, those are CDPR and Obsidian(Bethesda is trash, sorry). Ubisoft are slowly becoming an RPG creator, but they are not there quite yet.

I don't think they are quite done yet and reddit will probably have a full transcript once it's done but so far:
Disguise are a thing to infiltrate factions. Should be interesting... :hue:

Dev didn't want to confirm what the mark on De Sardet was.
De Sardet has a (safe) house in 3 of the cities with a bed to rest, companions to talk to and a fast travel point, but it's not customizable.
About jumping: Jumping was not at the heart of the core RPG experience we wanted. We had to make hard choices during the development.
DAI is one of their big influence for the game. Combat has a bit of Fallout, Dragon Age, Path of Exile and Skyrim in it according to them.
Skill trees contains different types of skills : Passive, actives and ultimates, costing up to 3 skill points.
Memory crystals, used to respec your character, are found on specific enemies, there is a finite amount of them in the game.

Those devs are hilarious.

Larian is making some strides as well. Baldur's Gate 3 will be the big test.

The 10 GB size was ominous at first glance, but frankly, having spent the last year sloughing through the Dragon Age and Witcher trilogies almost back-to-back, and having made good headway into Mass Effect, I'm ready for an RPG that won't take me a month to get anywhere in. It's exhausting, and I'm pretty sure that isn't supposed to be part of the deal when you buy a video game.

She sounds like Evie from Syndicate. Probably the same voice actor.

See, I never really liked the idea that games are mostly just, you play it once and then you're done to move on to the next game. These things are usually pretty expensive (like $60), so if I'm going to own a game, I want to play it more than once, and with my current catalog of games, that makes it difficult.
