Greedfall

It looks alright. Not really sure about the combat style being switched like that. And I guess I was maybe expecting a bigger technical leap from the last game. But i get it, they still aren't a huge studio

Now this is gameplay I can buy into. I suspect I'll be joining Early Access. Graphics for the faces could be better, but I'm happy to look past that for the rest.

EA is now available! Created a character but that's about it so far. Definitely not an AAA experience on options or graphics, but I didn't expect one. Interesting that conversations between the Tir Fradee natives is voiced in their language so you have to read the subtitles. Now I'm fine with subtitles, but I know some people aren't so it's a curious choice.

Anyone here play EA for GF2?

Game is still stable on my rig. Framerate is low but I don't really notice for this game. Only had on bug where you can't use fast travel points for a while, but it's pretty unimportant at that stage. Still trying to get used to the combat.

I played a little of the EA and the game was pretty stable. As a fan of DAO, not loving this combat. I liked the combat from the first game but felt it needed some tweaking.

I've had several bugs where I couldn't interact with something but closing the game and starting again fixed that. My biggest complaint is getting stuck in combat cause some monkey in a tree is not targetable or I kill a group of mobs and leave, come back and they're there again but don't aggro? it's like they're not there? I dunno, weird, lol.

I haven't finished everything that's out yet though.

Took me 16 hours. But I missed several pieces of side content so I'd say probably 20 hours in its current form. There were three 'Acts' available (I'll call them that for now) and I don't expect them to add any more for EA, but I wouldn't be surprised to find a lot more side content appearing in those acts as time goes on.
