What does she eye?
nine victims
waiting to get crushed
to get eaten, and die
one victim had an idea
of simply slipping away
so with some subterfuge
they hid, out of sight
and survived the tumultuous day
Another felt no need to hide
so instead, they fought
tooth and nail against the Maw
with luck and fortune favoring their side
A trio of the unlikely formed
to distract and call for more
but unlike the fighter, luck frowned upon them
and with a quick acid spit
the Masher killed one of the friends
leaving two shaken, and praying for the end
Another trio gathered
beaten, scarred, and tattered
but they picked up their arms anyway
to protect the others, to survive
and keep the beast at bay
So as the monster raged on
they fought and bled,
until the sun,
and a heroic one
fell, tired and gone
There was no time to mourn the lost
as the dead fell, and winds blew cold as blistering frost, The survivors soon had to come up with a plan
before they suffer another heavy cost
Two figures came up with a thought
why not summon another?
To fight the other, while we leave
and so the dead wouldn't have fallen for naught
The majority balked at the two
but one knew just what to do
and with a stomp or few
the ground soon rumbled
as the others cried on cue
This Thresher Maw was bigger
meaner, and louder than the first
and as the survivors prepared for the worst
some extraordinary happened, that didn't make
them feel so cursed
The First Maw mewed
bumping it's head towards the other
and as the Second Maw opened its mouth
the survivors soon discovered
that the First Maw was simply angry
because she lost her mother
The Two Maws hugged, as worms do
and soon burrowed underground
and the survivors wept in victory
as the night fell, without a another sound

One dull eyed figure mourned the lost of their own
because they know
that they will have to carry their duty with one less
making them even more alone
---------
Players Eliminated : dragontartare - Good Oriana; regack - Evil Glyph
The first three choices were wildcards, but the second one had the bonus included (Congrats!). The fourth one was actually a safe choice . The fifth choice was the death choice, while eight and ten were the other safe options.
So that leaves six, seven, and nine as the other wildcards. So just a little bloodier this time...

Well, I hope the extra delay wasn't too bad for everyone! Sorry about that though, I do try not to keep players hanging for longer than possible, although that doesn't always happen sometimes. So now on to results...

running from the darkness
as it slowly settles in
But deviled eyes stay wide awake
as the survivors slumber away
exhausted, torn, but not broken
from the previously thunderous day
one innocent quarian's pupils
were still on high alert
staying close by a certain asari;
preventing them from getting hurt
The snakes, however, had other plans
inside their converted minds
one deed of the night involved killing the protector
and leaving him for the rest to find
the seasoned marine
not willing to die without a fight
met the spies blow to blow,
might against might
until the righteous fell
into the cruelty of Tuchanka nights
as the darkness neared the end
there the battered body laid
this was when the survivors decided
to sadly part ways
their minds, hearts, stomachs
wrenched, aching, and weary
where among them, a once vibrant one knew
this could be their final day ----------------------------------------------

Poor Kal'Reagar. Apparently he was protecting an asari. Now did he do that of his own volition or did she make him? When I was Morinth I rather fortunately stumbled on Kal'Reager and got him to protect me, which was fortunate at the time as the spies did attack me. Anyway, the spies went for Vella, there is an asari in the game and we are running out of protective roles.
