It is interesting that OG didn't vote for Arcadia last round, though. That would have been a safer way to go. Conversely you could ask why Arcadia didn't vote for OG? Both of them were acting suspiciously. OG might not have realised why you changed your vote but Arcadia voted after you spelled it out for OG. If OG turns out to be innocent then perhaps that should be a lesson to future heroes. I've often said we should work together as a team just as much as the spies do. Anyway, since Vella has specifically asked us to trust her and vote out OG, that is what I shall do. I vote for OGOh come on, I answered that already

Lastly we have Space who didn't receive any votes. Actually he received the first vote of the round from me. Then I swapped my vote to Arcadia when she had voted for me knowing the Space was likely to as well. After Space moved his vote from me to you, Arcadia swapped to Space, before finally swapping to you. So the only people who voted for Space are proven heroes. However, my main reason for not suspecting him is that he changed his vote from you when he realised that Arcadia's vote had put you in the lead. If he was a spy, why not leave it there? It was worth the risk considering there were two other people that had voted later than he and thus appeared more suspicious than he did. Space, Catilina and Seven could all potentially be Ashley, although I have my own idea about their likely roles. Mind you, depending on how Pela interpreted the rules, OG could be the last spy.

Feros Part 1
The next lead Shepard was after lied within the small colony of Zhu's Hope. A full out geth army attack had nearly destroyed the colony, but Shepard knew the geth were around the colony for a reason. So it was up to her to figure out what Saren was after in Feros before time runs out .In Shepard's eyes, possibly saving the colony was not her priority. If the colony had to shut down in order for her to get to Saren then that would just have to happen, as long as she got closer to hunting down the rogue Spectre. Although she hoped it would not come to that outcome.
As the Normandy settled within the hazy planet and docked, a distressed colonist was already outside to greet Shepard, Kaidan, and Wrex.
"We saw your ship, Fai Dan wants to speak with you immediately," the colonist spoke to Shepard, sweating and slightly out of breath.
"Who's Fai-" Before Shepard could finish her sentence a sudden blast tore through the colonist's body, causing them to fall down in agony within seconds. Robotic noises clicked and clattered amongst the colonist's dying gasps. It was a geth squad, and they did not wait for pleasantries.
Shepard decimated the geth' by hacking them relentlessly while Wrex did what he did best: tearing through his enemies with his shotgun. Shepard became acquainted with the old and rugged mercenary back in the Citadel. She knew by the look of the scarred krogan that he would be a great addition to her crew. As Wrex biotic slammed the last of the geth with Kaidan, Shepard knew then that her instinct was right.
As Shepard and her crew mates fought their way to Zhu's Hope, they were finally greeted by Fai Dan, the leader of the battered colony. His eyes were worn and exhausted, and his hands were shaking. The young woman next to him wasn't any better, as she greeted Shepard with a grimace.
"You're a bit late, aren't you?" The younger woman said to Shepard.
"Arcelia!" Fai Dan scolded the woman, "Sorry Commander, everyone's on edge si-"
"Watch out! There's more geth in the tower!" Arcelia shouted. More robotic clicks and gunfire filled the room, but more gathered within the tower of Zhu's Hope. As Shepard later took care of the threat in the tower, she preceded to come back to the colony with a sigh. At this rate, Zhu's Hope will be finished without assistance from Shepard. But the Commander had to be careful about making any promises for the colonists, as her priority lied with Saren.
So Shepard remained distant from the colonists, asking more about Saren rather than their struggles, which seemed to anger Arcelia if her frown was any indication.
"If it's geth you're looking for, then you came to the right place," Fai Dan replied to Shepard's inquiries. "We don't know what they're after though. They came, they attacked us. That's all we know,"
"Do you know where they are attacking? Where is their base?"
"Their main base is at the ExoGeni Headquarters. A good place to start looking if you want answers,"
Of course, it wouldn't be that easy. With Arcelia's simultaneous scowl and weary eyes getting to Shepard, she eventually agreed to help the colonists the best she could before heading out. First she gathered rations of varren meat, then she stumbled upon power cells for the colony, and then destroyed the geth transmitter to prevent geth from further attacking the colony. With bellies full and the power soon to be restored, Shepard also fixed their water valves. This brought a slight smile to Arcelia's face.
With the colony in better spirits now, Shepard preceded to move on to the geth base. But as soon as she was about to prepare to head out, a full squad of geth was there to greet her. To make matters even worse her squad mates were still on a mini break within the Normandy, so she was facing a squad by herself. What surprised Shepard the most however, was the familiar figure who lead them. The figure was a startling face for Shepard to gaze upon, and sent chills down her spine. Perhaps her paranoia was justified. And it seemed Liara's findings and research from before they landed on the planet were true, even if she didn't want to admit or face it at the time. Whatever their reason for joining Saren though did not matter anymore. She would have to end them here and now, even if it will cost her more sleepless nights.
Shepard immediately took cover behind the Mako, taking down one geth at a time. As the final geth finally fell, Shepard got up to finally face her adversary, pushing hard to knock their them to the ground. With some weapons sabotaging and a final kick, Shepard's enemy was down on the floor. The adversary tried to reach for a fallen weapon beside them, but to no avail as Shepard quickly knocked it away. Shepard however, had a pistol of her own. As she raised it to fire however, it suddenly jammed.Shepard quickly fired again but it was jammed once more. What the hell?
Shepard fired once more, but it overloaded. A weapon sabotage, Shepard thought. The adversary smirked. As Shepard pulled out her backup pistol and fired, an advanced shield absorbed all the damage Shepard dealt. The shielded adversary then got up as Shepard tried to strip away the shield. Much to Shepard's dismay though, the shield was still surrounding the adversary. Gathering themselves after the knock down, exhausted, and with their weapons also sabotaged, the figure eventually retreated. Shepard meanwhile could not figure out how to override his protection, frustrating her in the process. By the time the figure vanished, Wrex and Kaidan walked over to Shepard, just as perplexed as their Commander.
"Shepard, what the hell just happened?" Wrex said rather dumbfounded.
"I have no idea," Shepard admitted as her pride stumbled a bit, "But they'll be back. I know it,"

It's possible OG is Wrex, but in that case, might as well let OG be eliminated and take a hero down at the same time, leaving evil Tali hidden (or possibly Conrad mimicking Tali). If OG were Conrad, then would evil Tali risk revealing herself for an ally who isn't an agent? So OG being Garrus or Kaidan, along with an evil Tali (or maybe Conrad mimicking Tali) are the most likely pair here, I think. pelassarias, remind me, if Conrad were investigated overnight, would he turn up as evil? Possible Tali: seven, space, catilina Possible Conrad: dragontartare (though not based on the other clue I already gave), seven, space, OG I'm leaving gervaise off the lists due to vella's vote of confidence.

I thought Conrad was always evil? Maybe I got that wrong though. Yeah, but he's not technically an agent, right? And isn't part of the agent chat? So I wasn't sure if Liara would necessarily know she'd found evil if she investigated Conrad. The only thing the answer will really provide is possibly ruling out Conrad as a role for OG, but I think it's a less likely one anyway.

The only thing the answer will really provide is possibly ruling out Conrad as a role for OG, but I think it's a less likely one anyway. Good point. Never thought of that. Edit. The original rules say this: "Conrad's blind hero worship makes him a target for Cerberus recruitment, and thus the role may ONLY be given to a Cerberus agent." That would mean that Conrad IS an agent. Also if he is in the game, there should only be two spies if I read the rules right.

That would mean that Conrad IS an agent. Also if he is in the game, there should only be two spies if I read the rules right. Since we started the game with 10 players there could be 3 spies including Conrad. They are limited to 2 only with less than 10 players. Anyway, we know OG is definitely a spy since evil Tali saved her. They can only do this once per game so if you don't find Tali (or another spy) overnight then we can just vote OG next round.

With the colony taken care of, Shepard can finally get to the bottom of Saren and the geth within Feros. Fai Dan suggested to take the Mako over to the Exo Geni Headquarters where the geth now resides. So with Wrex and Kaidan in tow, Shepard drove to the Headquarters while battling geth along the way. Sure, The Mako tipped over a couple of times and almost fell to the edge of the skyway, but Shepard managed to trek along in one piece. This did not stop Wrex from laughing along the way with a slightly startled Kaidan in the back. "We got movement. Some kind of vehicle, not part of the geth," a static transmission suddenly was picked up as the Mako further made it's way to the skyway. As much as she wanted to head straight to the headquarters, this piqued Shepard's interest.
"They got a visual on us, we must be close," Kaidan said as the Mako parked close to the entry of the source for the transmission.
As Shepard reached the bottom of the ramp, she instantly noticed a group of scientists and humans in her midst. And with a brief once over, Shepard figured they probably worked for Exo Geni.
"That's close enough!" one of the startled humans warned as Shepard came closer anyway.
"Relax Jeong, they're obviously not geth," An older woman, said to the anxious man.
This didn't deter Jeong however, as he met Shepard's gaze with trepidation. "Get back Juliana! Who are you? What do you want!?" Jeong's voice cracked a little as he continued to gawk at Shepard with a gun in hand.
"I suggest you put your weapon down unless you're ready to use it," Shepard's patience was already running thin with this group.
"Don't worry about him. He only cares about the company," The older woman, Juliana, said, rolling her eyes.
"And you trust too easily Juliana,"
"I'm just glad to see a friendly face. I thought we were the only humans left on this planet,"
"No, Fai Dan and some of the other members of Zhu's Hope are still alive," Shepard said, already itching a bit to learn possible relevant information from this group.
Juliana was slightly surprised by this news considering Jeong told her that they were dead. Jeong however, deflected and informed his group to not do anything until Exo Geni arrived for help. Shepard meanwhile, wanted to know if the group knew where to find the geth. Juliana then informed Shepard to keep continuing to the headquarters. Before Shepard continued on her mission however, Juliana noted that her daughter, Lisbeth, was missing within the facility. Shepard took note of this, along with Jeong's concern over the company over Juliana's daughter's well being, and continued on to the mission.
As Shepard continued on to Exo Geni, she had to face more geth. The waved of synthetics seemed endless, but Shepard blasted them apart and ran them over to push through the hefty group. At last,Shepard made it, but of course, there was more geth inside of the entrance.
"What are they up to? There's no point for them to be here unless they're looking for something," Wrex said aloud as Shepard continued to blast the remaining geth inside the Mako. As the last of them fell, Shepard finally got out to enter the geth occupied building.
As Shepard further investigated the derelict building, she suddenly felt a shot graze her arm. In an instant, Shepard pulled out her pistol to discover a shaking scientist. She was young and looked awfully familiar. Amidst awkward apologies from the young woman, Shepard realized it was Juliana's daughter, Lisbeth. The scientist explained how she managed to survive so far, but Shepard wanted information about the geth.
"Well, if I had to guess why they're here, it's probably because of the Thorian," Lisbeth said. The scientist further explained that the Thorian is an indigenous life form that Exo Geni was studying. Shepard pressed the young woman for more information, but Lisbeth retorted that the group should try to get rid of the geth powered barrier first. Shepard assured Lisbeth that she'll handle it and awkwardly informed her that she needed to go now. Before Shepard left however, the scientist gave her the ID for Shepard to access the blocked entries of Exo Geni.
"Exo Geni reminds all staff that the use of firearms while in the building is strictly forbidden," an Exo Geni VI told Shepard as she discharged her bullets on an enemy krogan's lying body. Shepard soon discovered the VI while investigating and hoped that it would provide additional information regarding the Thorian. Shepard questioned the VI about the information the enemy krogan was trying to access, and the VI replied that the krogan tried to access information regarding the Thorian.
"I was unable to provide the user with any relevant data. Aside lacking proper access, there has been no revelant data available on Species 37. All sensors monitoring the observation posts on Zhu's Hope have been inactive for several cycles," The VI replied.
"What does Zhu's Hope have to do with the Thorian?"
"Species 37 is located within the sub structure of the Zhu's Hope outpost," The VI said. The glowing Vi then preceded to inform Shepard on that the Thorian is capable of controlling organisms through it's dispensing spores it emits. The VI continued on in stating that the Zhu's Hope's colonists were experimented on by Exo Geni without their knowledge. It appeared to Shepard that they wanted to find out the capabilities of the Thorian. And they say I'm cold, Shepard shook her head as the VI prattled on.
"Should we inform Joker about this, Commander?" Kaidan said with a concerned face. Shepard preceded to buzz Joker, but she was met with silence since the geth powered field blocked any possible communications.
Moments later, Shepard was taking on another wave of geth before she reached to the place where she believe granted her access to shut down the barrier. Geth blocked her way once more, but she quickly disposed of them and was finally facing the Shuttle Bay Door Control Panel. With a few clicks, Shepard managed to access the Panel in order to close the door. Unfortunately for the geth this very same door snapped one of the legs to their ship, and the ship toppled over and exploded right outside the Exo Geni facility. This in turn cause the barrier to also collapse. In no time, Joker's concerned voice was finally picked up.
"I repeat, Normandy to shore party. Are you reading? Anyone there? Normandy to shore party. Come on Commander talk to me,"
"Is that you Joker? What's going on over there?"
"We're in lock down over here, Commander. Something has happened to the colonists. They're banging on the hull, trying to claw their way inside the ship. I'm freaking out!"
"Keep those colonists away from the Normandy," Shepard ordered as she paced back and forth, "I'll be there as soon as I can,"
"Will do Commander. We'll fire a few warning shots. That should send them running,"
"Now it's time to get the hell out of here," Shepard said, facing her two squad mates. "But first, let's get rid of the rest of these bastards,"
----------------
Time was not quite on Shepard's side as she raced back to Zhu's Hope as fast as she could. Lisbeth was also inside the Mako and informed Shepard where exactly the Thorian resided in the colony. She also revealed how the Saren and the geth could be interested in the Thorian due to it's mind control capabilities. Now it was a matter of beating the clock before things become drastically worst for the mission and the colonists. This time, Shepard did not have the patience or time for the enemy geth. So she simply ran them over and sped through without hesitation.
"Is there anybody? Is there anyone picking this up?" Juliana's voice was immediately picked up as soon as the Mako was in an optimal range.
"Get away from that radio!" Jeong's voice was also picked up as the transmission cut away soon afterwards.
"What was that all about?" Lisbeth asked as the Mako slowly made it's stop, "That's my mom! Park here!"
Shepard soon followed the frantic scientist just to be greeted by an even more frantic Jeong arguing with Juliana.
"You won't get away with this!" Juliana said as Exo Geni security began to escort her away from Jeong.
"Get her out of here!" a shaking Jeong ordered. Seconds later, the scientist yelled for her mother and at Jeong, alerting Jeong in the process.
"Come out! Come out all of you!" Jeong shook his head as Shepard entered in vision, "Shepard,Shepard. I knew it would be too much to hope that the geth would kill you. And you know, I found out what you did on Torfan. There's no reason for this to get bloody,"
"You need to back down, Jeong, and let them go now," Shepard said to the startled man.
"You, you don't understand; it's not that easy. Communications are back up and Exo Geni wants this place purged,"
"This is a human colony, Jeong, you can't just repurpose us," Lisbeth interjected.
"It's not just you! There's something here far more valuable than a few colonists,"
"So are you going to tell them about the Thorian? Or should I?" Shepard said with crossed arms.
"It's a telepathic life form living under Zhu's Hope," Lisbeth explained while glaring at Jeong, "It's taking control of the colonists, and Exo Geni knew all along,"
"You won't get away with this Jeong," Juliana's voice was filled with malice and disgust.
"So you keep saying this, but nobody is going to miss a few colonists," Jeong replied without a hint of shame. It was then that Shepard's disgust and patience was at an all time low with the small and shaking man.
"You're a bean counter, Jeong. I'm a Spectre. Tell me: How good are those odds?" Shepard said without flinching or hesitation. And the juxtaposition between Shepard's steel like expression and Jeong's demeanor was distinct.
"Spectre? You're a Spectre? That's a load a crap. There aren't any human Spectres," Jeong said, although it appeared he was convincing himself of these words more than anyone else, "Right?"
Shepard simply stared back at the man, which was more than enough for Jeong to crack.
"Well, Exo Geni will send more assayers. They'll know what happened," Jeong stuttered, but Shepard knew she had him, and that he will work with the colonists as long as Shepard was around. Before long, Lisbeth came up with a solution to try to avoid killing the colonists while Shepard tries to take down the Thorian.
Shepard gave them a minute to explain while warning them that she will eliminate any threats if she had to. Juliana preceded to tell Shepard that a simple nerve agent could neutralize the colonists if used effectively. Lisbeth proposed a gas grenade to throw at them whenever they became hostile. Shepard was hesitant at the idea, but was eventually beaten down by the mother-daughter pair. As she walked back to the Mako, Shepard had a limited supplied of grenades ready, and an even more limited supply of time left.
----
As Shepard slowly made a stop near the entrance of the garage, something was blocking her way. A kneeling, ghoulish figure stood alone. But then it slowly rose to meet Shepard's face as she got out of the Mako. The face was sunken and vacant while the eyes were an ominous pitch black. The teeth and fingernails were sharpened as well, and as it reached out to Shepard, it made a hungry sound.
"Heads up Shepard!" Wrex warned as the husk quickly tackled Shepard to the ground. It an instant Shepard's pistol fired along with a biotic blast from Kaidan, and the husk exploded into a green mist. The contents of the husk covered Shepard in a green ooze.
"What was that? Didn't seem human at all," Kaidan said as he studied what remained of the husk. Shepard paced towards the marine and beckoned Wrex to join in in a small huddle.
"Listen, we're going to go in and use these grenades at the colonists. But if we run out or if something goes wrong, then shoot. Am I clear?" Shepard briefed as she gathered her bearings. Kaidan and Wrex nodded and took a moment before heading face first into the storm. And as the garage door opened, the storm barged in with violence. A group of more husks soon got up and headed towards their way.
While handling geth, Shepard felt at ease since she was a tech savant. But with unknown, hulking, and expressionless hordes of husks and mind controlled colonists? This was the first time Shepard felt out of her comfort zone. So Shepard threw one grenade to a cluster of husks, hoping that it would work. By the time the mist cleared, some of the husks were paralyzed, to Shepard's relief. But before she could celebrate any further, a coloist soon tackled Kaidan to the ground. A struggle soon followed, and by the time it was over, a colonist lied dead on the ground. Shepard sighed. This is going to be an ordeal.
By the skin of her teeth, Shepard fought her way to Zhu's Hope. Husks surrounded the trio throughout their journey to the Thorian. Clawing and gnawing at their heel every step of the way. Shepard made sure to throw enough of those grenades to save a good portion of the colonists. However, a few managed to evade the grenade's impact and thus had to be gunned down. It was not pretty business and Shepard was sure she was going to have lingering nightmares by the time the mission was concluded. As Shepard finally spotted the Crane Controls in the middle of Zhu's Hope, she blew a sigh of relief.
A few button presses and the Crane Control Panel opened an entry way to where the Thorian was no doubt residing in. Before Shepard could step foot into the entrance, movement caught her peripheral vision. Shepard instinctively whipped out her pistol just to discover a limping and partially mind controlled Fai Dan.
"I tried to f-fight it, but it gets in your head. You c-can't imagine the pain," Shepard slightly lowered her weapon as the sickly man spoke. He then shakily raised his weapon at Shepard. Shepard quickly raised her weapon back in kind, "I was suppose to be their leader. These people trusted me,"
"It, it wants me to stop you. But I won't. I won't," Before Shepard could react in time, Fai Dan raised the gun towards his head and fired. The scene burning into Shepard's memory indefinitely.
------------------
"Okay, by the numbers,we just need to find, to find," Kaidan's thought trailed off as the trio assessed the scope of the Thorian from down below. It seemed to be made of tentacles, ooze, and horror. Kaidan stood agape, "What is that?"
"Nothing is ever simple, is it?" Shepard said as she walked closer to the eldritch horror. Moments passed, and an entire adult asari was birthed or vomited from the Thorian and in front of Shepard. The fact that she was also green and covered in Thorian ooze seemed to confirm Shepard's previous statement.
"Invaders! Your every step is a transgression. A thousand feelers appraised you as meat: good only to dig or decompose. I speak for the Old Growth as I did for Saren. You are within and before the Thorian. It commands that you be in awe," The green asari's eyes dug deep into Shepard's.
"You gave something to Saren. Something I need," Shepard began, "I-"
"Saren sought knowledge to those that were gone. The Old Growth listened to flesh for the first time in the long cycle. Trades were made. Then cold ones began killing the flesh that would tend the next cycle. The Old Growth sees the air you push as lies. It will listen no more,"
"Give me what I need, and I'll strike back at the one who betrayed you," Shepard said, speaking directly to the Thorian.
"No more will the Thorian listen to the ones that scurry. Your lies are short, but have gone on too long," the asari declared, pulling out a shotgun.
The battle between the first asari was brief and simple. The following battles between the hordes of husks Shepard would have to face, would be the true test. Hordes of husks ran towards the trio as they were forced to backwards while firing away. Wrex blasted husk after husk, as Kaidan threw them afar with his biotics. Shepard however, had no choice but to aim for their heads with her pistol as they marched forward. One husk grabbed Kaidan and barfed strange acid all over the marine. The contents were so damaging that Kaidan became incapacitated afterwards. This was going to be a long fight.
As Shepard marched upstairs towards the Thorian, she was met with even more husks and more asari clones. The husks tackled her at one point, and even barfed on her, but she raged forward. At one point, Shepard fought the husks with her fists alone. Her hands soon covered in the husks' ooze. Wrex soon began to biotic tackle groups of husks as well. By the middle of the way, Kaidan looked exhausted while even Wrex seemed a little worn. But they pressed forward all while shooting the tentacles and nodes of the Thorian that they encountered. Shepard was covered in Thorian and husk ooze by then, and was actively dreaming of a nice shower. Her squad mates reeked of green slime and were in no better shape either.
Barely clinging to cleanliness and energy, Shepard fired at the final Thorian node that held the creature together. It soon fell in a ceremonious thump and groan. Down below, it's life slowly gave away as Shepard exhaled. She then wiped what remained of husk contents away from her shoulder and hands. The sooner she got out of this planet, the better.
A blue asari greeted Shepard as she investigated what was left of the Thorian. She look exactly like the green asaris Shepard battled throughout her fight with the husks. Only she was slightly disoriented and less intense.
"I'm free! I, I suppose I should be thanking you for releasing me," the asari said as Shepard hesitantly stepped forward.
"How do I know this isn't some kind of trick?" Shepard said as she eyed the asari.
"This is no trick. The Thorian is dead and I am myself again," the asari replied, "My name is Shiala. I serve, I served Matriarch Benezia. When she allied herself with Saren so did I. Benezia foresaw the influence Saren would have. She joined him to guide him to a gentler path, but Saren is compelling. Benezia lost her way,"
"You chose to side with Saren, and so did Matriarch Benezia,"
"Benezia underestimated Saren as I did. We came to believe in his cause and his goals. The strength of his influence is troubling,"
"Asari Matriarchs are one of the most intelligent and powerful beings in the entire galaxy. How could one possibly fall under Saren's control?" Shepard asked in disbelief.
"Saren has a vessel. An enormous warship unlike anything I have ever seen. He calls it Sovereign. It can dominate the minds of its' followers" Shiala began to pace back and forth as she continued to explain, "They become indoctrinated under Saren's will. At first it's subtle. It can take days, weeks. But in the end, it is absolute."
Shiala further explained how she became acquainted with the Thorian. Saren needed Shiala's biotics in order for him to communicate with the Thorian and to learn its' capabilities, and Shiala was a bargaining chip in order to secure an alliance with the Thorian. Shepard shook her head slightly as Shiala continued, explaining that Saren eventually betrayed the Thorian by ordering his geth army to kill the creature after he gathered what he needed. Shiala further explained that Saren was also aware that Shepard is after thw Conduit and wanted to kill the Thorian to also prevent Shepard from getting the Cipher.
"Why does Saren need this Cipher, and what exactly is it?"
"The Beacon on Eden Prime gave you visions. But the visions are unclear and confusing. They were meant for a Prothean mind. To truly comprehend them you must think like a Prothean. You have to understand their culture, their history, their very existence, their-"
"Just give me some plain answers! Where is the Cipher?" Shepard's patience was slowly dwindling as was her energy.
With a slightly worried look on her face, Shiala continued to explain that the Cipher is the very existence of a Prothean that cannot be described. However, she told Shepard that it would help her in deciphering the images and visions from the Beacon at Eden Prime. She also admitted that she sensed ancient knowledge from the Thorian when she melded with the creature. Shepard pretended that she did not hear that last piece of information.
"Well you taught Saren about the Cipher, so you can teach me," Shepard stepped forward in front of Shiala. Shiala nodded and closed the distance between her and Shepard to transfer the Cipher to Shepard's mind. Shepard exhaled and relaxed as much as she could, considering the circumstances. After awhile, Shiala's voice became distant. As was Shepard's surroundings. But her eyes pierced Shepard's own like a blade as it grew pitch black.
"Embrace eternity," As those words echoed into Shepard's mind, knowledge soon entered as well and the visions slowly became more clear. But it was all overwhelming, and Shepard still wasn't quite sure about everything in the visions. One image, one premonition, however, was distinct: a large warship entering the horizon of a doomed planet.
Minutes passed, but for Shepard, it felt like a day. As she opened her eyes, she felt even more exhausted.
"Are you alright, Commander?" Kaidan asked as Shepard wiped her forehead.
"All I saw were more weird visions. It still didn't make any sense," Shepard admitted, but Shiala reassured Shepard that it would take time for her to understand and adjust. In the meantime, it was time for time Shepard to finally head back to the Normandy to conclude her mission and so she could be monitored.
As for the fate of the Zhu's Hope, even though eight colonists did not survive, Shepard knew with the help of Jeong that they would pull through. Shepard noticed a resilience to them, and knew if they could overcome this experience that they could last for a long time. Shepard initially also wanted to kill Shiala since she was an ally of Saren, but ultimately decided against this since Shepard knew she could possibly help Zhu's Hope in the future. And with Feros finally wrapped up, Shepard steadily entered the Normandy seeking sleep and a shower.
--------
A mission briefing was called after the Normandy steadily departed from Feros. During the briefing Shepard, Wrex, and Kaidan still reeked of husk and Thorian ooze which filled the room exponentially. Ashley scrunched her nose up all the while Shepard simply shrugged her shoulders. Despite this, Liara offered Shepard to join their minds together so she could help Shepard in understanding the visions from Eden Prime. Shepard was initially resistant to another being probing her mind, but the scientist did not take no for an answer. So reluctantly, Shepard joined her mind with another for a second time. Afterwards, Liara being a Prothean archeologist was in awe with the information she received. However, she informed Shepard that pieces of the visions from the Beacon were missing and incomplete. So it would be up to the Commander to somehow find the missing pieces of the vision in order to fully understand it. After the meeting was concluded, Liara also took Shepard aside to inform her of her research findings. Shepard however, still had a shower in her near future and thus told Liara she would speak to her later about her findings.
As Shepard was about to retire for the day however, she noticed a blinking notification on her computer. As she opened the notification, she discovered a human reporter,Emily Wong sent her a lengthy message. Shepard remembered meeting with the human reporter and doing tasks for her before her mission in Feros. And as Shepard skimmed through the written message and video, her jaw dropped.
"Shepard, by the time you received this message, I am probably dead. They've been on to me for quite awhile, but please heed my warnings. There is someone within your crew you should not trust because they work for the geth. Attached to this message is the dossier of the traitor in question. Please read it, and be careful Shepard," the message concluded in a hushed voiced by Emily Wong. Shepard scanned the contents within the dossier once again in disbelief. It appeared her paranoia was entirely founded. And as she later observed the traitor chatting it up with the rest of the crew, she couldn't help but shake in hurt and anger.
