Guess who is in a romance with Garrus now . But I have to say, the ME franchise can't excite me nearly as much as the DA franchise. The battles are very repetative imo. I don't think, I will do a lot of replays. But now that I achieved the romance with Garrus, I will see it through, so I try to finish this playthrough. One fight, where I was really annoyed, was the one in the Collectors ship. It was just wave after wave and I thought, it just would never end. And after that, you can't even give the ILlusive Man your middle finger. I made sure to let him look really bad in the mission debriefing with the crew afterwards. Not even Miss Cerberus dared to interfere. I think, I'm a bit cross, because Shep is either military or working for a racist organisation, I really don't like. I guess, I have to find another bottle of whiskey and get drunk with the doc.

Ok, something is very wrong. I don't think, Serza is a spy. I will switch my vote from Serza to romiceI'm not entirely sure Romice is either. It would be a shame if she was an important role too. But who knows. Early rounds are tough.

But who knows. Early rounds are tough. You're right. And even if Serza is the Virmire survivor, he could be bad. I don't know. Of course, if I were the Virmire survivor and afraid to get voted off, I would drop a hint, because the last thing, the agents want to do, is kill VS. And I was surprised, that romice would dismiss it so easily

From that, it means you didn't use the Gibb editor or the kissing part would not happen. With it, you can input the relationships companions have with Shep in ME1. Bad / medium / good. Sure beats having to repeat an entire PT if one is not so inclined. I would advise using it for #3 because if you failed some achievements, they won't show up in ME3; NPCs. I don't use any mods in ME so far. I would like to use some mods, that make my armor look more rogueish than soldierish, because deep down, Janei Shepard is a rogue, not a soldier - and if I have to play SciFi (which is great in my book) it should be more in the line of Babylon 5 or Firefly and less STarship Troopers clothingwise , but I thought, you can only mod ME3. Gibb editor versions for ME2 and ME3. They're made solely for the two games and easy to use. I'm different where Shep is concerned. I'm not military but I did aspire to be a soldier; didn't make the cut (interview), I was very young then. I tried to get into other similar institutions but other things were thrown in my way and I never succeeded. So for a military RPG set in space, it was my cup of tea. I played Shep exactly as what she is written, a marine. Even if she's forced to work with Cerberus in ME2, she's still a marine to the bone and she would run a tight ship. She's on a critical mission, to save people and to save herself, to prove that she's still she. The stuff that are off-putting, for me, in the series is the lackadaisical (Star Treky) approach to hardsuit designs, military details and the incomprehensible designation of ranks. A marine cannot command a navy vessel. There's no proper COC and details. I don't let these things get to me when I play the games but they're there to hammer on when I wrote the fanfics. I just added what should have been there in the first place.

The part where Shepard shows up to Liara's apartment and finds this really shifty asari there, and doesn't even question whether she's really with the police or not. Shepard trusts her completely, no doubt in his/her mind. It's irritating and out of character. She's shifty to us because her expression and reaction were shown only to us when Shep showed up. With law enforcement officers on the scene and their annoyed / frustrated reaction to being dismissed by a Spectre and they wouldn't have done so if her credentials didn't check out, there's little for Shep to go on to be suspicious. Still, I'd expect Shep to be put out by the way she spoke and behaved. But then again, asari of higher ranks / status tend to have an attitude problem since they are centuries older than a human. Eh, I think there's a middle ground between shooting the asari on sight and telling her, "oh btw my friend is after the Shadow Broker lol" Some discretion or skepticism would have been more in character, in my opinion. Guess who is in a romance with Garrus now . But I have to say, the ME franchise can't excite me nearly as much as the DA franchise. The battles are very repetative imo. I guess, I have to find another bottle of whiskey and get drunk with the doc. Yay for Garrus! The husks are a total pain in the ass, definitely. I just started ME3 with my biotic last night, and discovered that shockwave at close range makes them explode on contact It might just be the way I play, but I find DAI combat to be more repetitive than MET combat, husks aside

I just started ME3 with my biotic last night, and discovered that shockwave at close range makes them explode on contact It might just be the way I play, but I find DAI combat to be more repetitive than MET combat, husks aside My problem with ME is, that the whole storyline is simpler, than it should be. I just did Talis loyality mission and I was prepared to go all Sherlock Holmes, finding evidence for her innocence and make a good case for her (a bit like with Jolee Bindo in KOTOR). Instead you have to - you guessed it - shoot through enemies again. I wish sometimes the missions would vary a bit, like in DAI the Halamshiral quest, where you have to be diplomatic and play the game well to win court favors. I like the overall story and I like the companions apart from Miranda and Thane (this guy has serious Edward Cullen vibes - creepy), but I don't like how all the missions are basically the same in different environments.

I just met Samara. Is no one concerned that all female crew members are dressed like cheap whores? Samara has sworn off worldly goods etc., but she looks, like her boobs are surgically changed . Jack looks a bit better, now that she has a tank top - a bit more punky than slutty, but the outfits are ridiculous. Thane on the other hand gets a nice trenchcoat. I mean Morrigans original outfit is extreemly ridicoulous and Isabellas too, but those are nothing compared to Miranda, Jack and Samara. WHo did the outfits at Biowares back then? Hormon driven teenage boys? Seriously? Sorry for the rant, it had to com out. I'm better now. And we are still waiting on some voting anyway, aren't we? So I thought a bit of game discussion could be nice Going back to the game an shoot down yet another merc group, so that Samara comes with me

A spy could say that too. Or she could be Liara. We really don't know. I don't kow if we'd have any better luck switching anyway

Luckily, Ahsley is dead in my game - and given the choice, she will never survive Virmire, trust me. I'm not the biggest Kaidan fan, but at least, he is likeable. But Mordin - I just cracked, that was the best
