Also I agree that Moonae is more than likely evil, unless the spy tried to target Tittus last night. Which I kinda doubt.
Either way, I'm voting for Tittus! I hope you feel this Harbs!

Oh and I definitely agree about the Geth and Husks flyimar! I personally have a soft spot for Legion, while husks are the bane of my existence, especially during the Horizon and IFF missions.

Yes, I could have kept it simple but I thought wrapping it up virtually in round one would be boring, particularly with some new roles in play. To be honest, even with the Harbinger, it was only the loss of Liara on Night 2 that even gave the villains a squeak of a chance. Then when both villains were in the firing line on Day 3, I saw the opportunity to make it a bit more interesting for them and possibly give Emily Wong a chance to shine, depending on who got which button and on whether Garrus decided to take his shot. I knew Pela had also been hinting at taking action but she wisely decided to wait in view of the doubt over their status.

I have already volunteered to run another game so Dragon can get an opportunity to play beyond the first round (hopefully). That's if the rest of you want me to. I've learned my lesson; clearly most people don't like surprises even if I have ensured that it is possible to reason through the options and arrive at a satisfactory conclusion, so if you do still want me to GM the next one, I promise to stick to the straight forward scenario this time round.

I would suggest one alteration though. It strikes me that it is extremely disappointing for the player who is eliminated on Night 1, with only a vague chance of being brought back later in the game. So how about this?

The game starts with only two spies but the person they target the first night changes sides and joins their team, making three spies in total after the first the night. The only exceptions would be the two guaranteed good roles, Liara and Jack. They would be eliminated in the usual way, which would be enough of a set back for the heroes to offset having one less spy, and only the player but not the role would be revealed. So both sides know that a good role was lost on night one but not which one. If a protective role acts on Night One they will stop Liara or Jack from being eliminated but not the other roles from changing sides.

Hopefully, the majority of the time, that will allow everyone to participate beyond Night 1. Of course, if the majority do not like this idea or you do not want me to GM the next game, then I will accept your decision.

Granted, I wasn't in the game... but I feel like the surprises spice it up a bit and throw everyone off. Makes it interesting imo.

But like I said, I wasn't in it so, I guess it could be frustrating when the surprise happens to you lol

Yeah same here. I think people were just unsure what was going on, like the rules were changing mid game. It all worked out though. I liked the creativity. Maybe if people are told there may be surprises from the beginning they won't worry.

I do hope you get a better role next time.
