Is there another way to play him? I'm not a Drelldept specialist, but what became clear to me after playing him on Silver, Gold and once on Platinum (oh, brave me) was that if you stop even for a split second, you're dead. You don't even get shield- or health-gated, you're just dead. The poor thing just doesn't have the time to scream "I'm hit!" before he has to scream "I'm down!". But if you manage to keep moving AND aim those grenades right, you can safely run into anything and obliterate it with ease, while, say, a TSent or a Bat-something (apart from BatGuard) would have his ass handed to him in most of such situations. So, to me, he is almost unplayable-degree squishy when played wrong, and almost unkillable (unless lag helps) if played right. Alas, I still belong to the first group. But I somehow manage to kill a Jugg with a full-shield build AND Cyclonic IV on Gold VS Rippaz, so there's also that - it's a special gift, I believe. At least you give good advice I'd lag thru it, 10/10 That's all I can do to help, because my skillz are low and chances are I won't be able to help anyone by currying. *singing* If we go down, we all go down together... But if you have the courage, you're always welcome!

But if you have the courage, you're always welcome! I do have courage, and do you like the Wraith? If you do, play DrellSquish this way - always advance, unless you're in trouble. Movement speed is a must, if you weren't aware. AM2/3 on top of his health tree makes for a hard to hit fellow, for these reasons - 1) when advancing, the enemy has to do math. You are shortening the cone. Remember this is a computer, and that it cheats like crazy, but it still has to do math. 2) you Reaved as soon as you saw the pile you're advancing on, rapidly since you're Drell. This Reave staggered them, giving you time to pop a headshot or two (Wraith), while chucking one or two Clusters at them for spice. 3) Reave stagger, cluster stagger, 30% headshot bonus, you're at close range so hard to miss, pull something to eliminate more enemy DPS with your pity points Pull skills 4) Finish at point blank with the Marauder trying to deliver the People's Elbow, blowing his head to smithereens just an instant before it lands on your beautiful frog face. This is how I roll. I level 1 Claymore with him all the time, using AM3, Wraith Phasic 3, point in Reave and Clusters, Targeting VI and Grenade Gear.(Claymore because its single shot damage is immense, and I reload cancel well, and because Claymore. I am more cautious at level 1 usually) His dodge cannot be forgotten or underestimated, there is DR in there.

Many said so, not many remained as sure when they actually experienced the thing. But if you do want those 3 shots in your Raider, again, you're very welcome I don't like the Wraith, I LOVE it. One of the best shotties in the game, IMO - light as a feather, packs a hell of a punch, noob- and headshot-friendly. All my Vanguards get a Wraith first. Too bad mine is still at lvl III, but even at lvl III it's damn good. play DrellSquish this way Thanks a lot for the tips and tricks! So, movement is key, dodge is a friend, and speed is a must, got it. Also Reave should be out there all the time for additional DR. And now I'm thinking of soloing Gold with him. Granted, it'll be crazy, but I've always liked the class, so it shouldn't be painful. At least I hope so. Won't be using Claymoar though, because my reload cancel skills are unreliable, so Wraith would be a safe bet.

I'M ALIIIIVE!!!! It was funny the first time, and even funnier seeing it back from your perspective, especially the second one. Super fun games - sub-17 against Collectors on Hydra isn't too shabby. And the Krogan game on London was pretty epic - I had no gels left by the end. First time I've come last as a QFE/Claymore in a very long time, but it has to be said we were a little OP for Gold.

I just did a couple of games with those crazy friends, Balbock and Urizen . The first one was...Quarian...something? No HSol, so I'm repressing the memory.
BUT:The second one was a HSol blast! 3 x Cryo ConcShot builds and Holy chit, it worked! Falcon, Eviscerator and my lol-Avenger (absolutely NO Assault-Rifle kill medal, no matter what) vs Cerberus on Palaven. This combo is not the easiest, and mind you we utilized weak weapons and some Cryo ammo (we all have in abundance). In fact, despite the lack of dps in the team, Platinum felt easy, we fully-extracted, and I finished with half my supplies intact, no missiles needed. Nice! Even a sneaking Phantom came close asking for trouble (and she found it). "Shatter" evo FTW. Why isn't this in the game's manual as a guideline for new players? Questions for later. Urizen, I know you might be jealous because you were saved by the grill (lol) while I saved the grill - *I* am a heeero. Thanks for the game(s) guys! Oh, I_Never_Extract told me things.

CShot (Cryo Shatter or not) HSol is OP from the beginning. Seriously, CShot is a top tier power. Took me a while to realize that, and an alt account to realize how amazing it is even in a new manifest.

You claimed it sucked (Nah just kidding. He just said that he doesn't like to play Quarians...) Thank you for going with the Theme anyway! Wait, you, of all, want to tell me you didn't know about the Cryo-Soldier before? That's a surprise. New MP Romance? All the best! ^^ Yeah, he extracted! With a Volus even. Terrible, isn't it?
Also if he said anything else than #ScrewGethAndWave10DevicesOnJade, it is (maybe) not true. Thanks for the games you two. So close to get that glorious Noveria-Claymore-HSol-Team back together. Another time.

Enjoyed some great games with FuriousFelicia, who killed everything in sight with this mean little guy: The sight of enemies flying in the air left and right from us after getting hit by a Venom never gets old. Plus, during one game, there was one (very well played) Salarian Infiltrator with a Scorpion, which of course meant even more booms!

Off the top of my head I've ran into Mgamerz, as well as Damien Mordrin (sp?) a couple times. You won't run into me, because I don't go as "magnetite" in game. Well I did a long time ago, not since 2012.

Won't be using Claymoar though, because my reload cancel skills are unreliable, so Wraith would be a safe bet. I used Wraith a lot on the Drelldept. Recently I have switched to the Claymore and it works out fine as well. I often switch between these two shotties on both the Drelldept and the Drellguard depending on what I think I will enjoy. Drelldept is one of the few kits I even sometimes use an automatic weapon like the Harrier which is super rare for me though. Can't go wrong with Wraith on him though...

DrellDept doesn't omni-button dodge, he matrix dodges. Use your superior speed to skitter about instead of using the wonky dodge rolls. Wraith on DrellDept is BrokenlyOPEnemyShouldn'tEvenShowUp Tier. The main problem I have with DrellDept's speed and dodge is that when I'm trying to escape a dangerous situation, more often than not I find myself even in a more dangerous situation, and then the omni-button eventually screws me up, so I have to eat a spoonful of dirt. Probably it's better not to run around like a headless chicken without any sense of direction after all. I've always been wondering whether the heavy weight of Claymoar makes cooldown time too long, but judging by the fact that too many people use it on their Drells, it seems to be not much of an issue. And I've always been clumsy with Claymore anyway and much more comfortable with Wraith, so I'm much more inclined to taking Wraith than struggling with Claymore. It's just that my skill isn't high, which sets certain limits on what I can use effectively. Taking an automatic weapon also seems to be an option for skilled players only, because you have to expose yourself to a certain degree and for quite a long period of time in order to kill something - and also stand still for quite a while, and that's not what I'd like to do when playing a Drell. Also, would love to see your Drells someday, because word has it, they're the best one can witness BTW, had a very interesting Silver DrellDept duo with Di-Crash against Collectors on Glacier Hazard (I chickened at the very last moment and took Acocane, while Prime was carrying a Venom) - probably one of the funniest games I've ever had, because... Well, you all know how it goes when Drell games go wrong, and everything that could go wrong, did. However, the fact that we've played a lot together and can almost anticipate each other's thoughts and actions did help, so no wipes or anything tragic like that, but it... wasn't easy, to put it mildly. Fun was had though, would do it again - next time, with lvl 1 Drellgods armed with Shurikens. Because why not?

Too fun and special for me not to say something about my last game. If Commander Shepard had hired us, Mass Effect 2 would be an hour long. Because a 4-Claymore HSol team of me, Balbock , vastator and SenorZanahoria seriously kicked some Collector's ass worthy of the Suicide Mission somewhere over a skyscraper's rooftop in Canada. A full Possessed Preatorian lasted a whooping 4 seconds under our fire, a Banshee's armor less than 1 second. Typical. This next, is just as cool. Check out freaking Vas outrunning the mooks behind him, correctly using Adrenaline Rush, evading the scorching laser like a boss while explosions occur in the background. Like the main character of an 80's-90's hollywood action film. How more cool can this be? Thanks for getting Senor, Bal. If you didn't, I would. I helped him by headshotting A-bombs near him but he blew me up 2~3 times on purpose. And he always plays innocent and nonchalant. " Oh no, I'm sorry, soo sorry, I didn't mean to do that, it was an accident, accidents happen (he he )". But we all know him now. +1 for your Bleed Frags! Only with HSols, ONLY with BSNers.

Unfortunately, i didn't make it in time. But you didn't say an important thing. Exactly like an 80s hero action movie, i was in that shit because i had to do my hero part. Few seconds left, there was Senor bleeding out (without gels of course ) down the stairs on the left. I rushed towards him, revived him and he was able to get up on his feet and reach the LZ safely. But i found some obstacles, and i lost time dealing with the baddies, so i couldn't reach the LZ in time. Unfortunately Senor decided to die in the LZ, making my effort useless. That's not good. You didn't correctly make your part Senor; in some "dramatic" 80's movie the "hero" may not make it, but his actions are successful and who got saved survives. You decided to die like a chicken . BTW, awesome games! I was even able to achieve 2 or 3 abombs!

I had a weirdest ME3 dream last night. I was soloing on Giant in 1st person, killing Rippaz. Then someone joins, so I run to the LZ and see it's TheTechnoTurian...playing a human soldier So I go on a mic and say - "Turians" And she goes on a mic and says - "Turians" And I say - "Yeah, Turians. So why are you playing a Human Soldier?" And she says - "I started a new account, so I don't have any yet" And I'm like - "why would you do that?" And then my phone alarm went off and woke me up WTF? Anyway, I count that as meeting a BSN'er
