I finally caved in after some serious itching and decided to play a few games after about 10-month break and some Andromeda vacationing prior to that for another 5 months. Pugs have been rough and there were no good hosts for me today as everything had 200+ msec ping. On a bright side, I bumped into yrael playing volus and decided to stay despite despicable lag. I did manage to charge a few times but got stunlocked by stinking geth quite a lot. And we somehow extracted. I promise to get better, just need more practice to get in shape. Lol. You'll be your beastly usual self in no time, old chap!

All my recent matches have kind of blurred together, so I remember seeing you but have no idea what match it was or what happened, ha. Geth on Dagger? Giant? Vancouver? Rio? Either way, since we extracted you clearly did fine

If you play at >60FPS, you'll want to go into the coalesced and change moverep_frame_delay to make it somewhere in the 3-5 range - it cuts down on the rubberbanding you get when playing on really laggy hosts (where your character shifts side to side a bunch of times) by reducing the amount of updates the game sends to the host, which is every frame by default. It won't completely fix Bioware's netcode, but it does make it a bit more bearable. Even if you haven't unlocked your framerate and still play at the default 60 cap, bumping it up to 2 would be a good idea. The full path is biogame > sfxgame > bioplayercontroller > moverep_delay_frame. [FRAMERATE] / [DELAY] is how many updates per second you'll be sending, in case you want to target a specific number. I think you're limited to integers.
Tonight's been a who's-who of pretty good players, at least on Gold. biala_kawa, Hroshuna (I think that's right, some Slavic-sounding girl who played a mean novaguard), SC_BeyondHuman, and VacaNeon are just the ones I remember, but there were a few other people who were top-tier. Biala and Vaca in particular are ridiculously good. I don't think any of them have an account on here, but I know andy_3_913 does and he joined one of those matches in progress, just after I did. Host bailed right after and I lost connection, sadly.

Joined a game before I go out, and bump into (First time, I think ) Yep, I joined that game about a minute before you did. I'd played a couple games in that lobby earlier in the night, then got dropped back into it after a few more rounds. Good game!

Depending on my loadout, I will bail or stay; if I can arms race with him I will for the fun of it. Outscoring good players after joining a GiP never gets old (ahem Pearl ), especially when it's on their host and they are Tryhard pants wearing.

Played once with this guy(biala kawa)long ago, perhaps 2017 year and he nuked 11 wave like a carzy.Probably he wanted to topscore. He ended up 80k points behind me with all these nukes.Aside from it,he cooperated on the objective waves and didn't say a word during the game, but it was only 1 game. Can't remember his character, but i am pretty sure he used a reetard.

Well, I also have played quite a few games with biala_kawa back in those days when I was still a hopeless newbie PUG, and the man treated me very nicely, as he helped me with revives and everything, and I even did a duo Gold vs Cerberus on White with him because no one joined the lobby - and, despite my low skill (I think it was the first duo for me ever), we extracted successfully. Haven't seen him around in quite a while (maybe for several months or so), but that's mostly because I've been a team player ever since, and generally tend to stay away from PUGging Gold nowadays. Granted, he tends to use kits that are very powerful and set maps that are suited for those kits best, but again, I don't care much about scoreboard since I'm pretty much always in the very bottom of it, and I haven't yet maxed my manifest, so as long as it doesn't end as Mission Failed and I get my creds, anything goes, - well, if it's in the game (e.g. Incendiary Reegar is fine - I personally don't have any problem with people using powerful guns, but missile glitching or Hydra waterfall camping are not). In a PUG, that is.

I've only played one match with him, which involved him steamrolling Collectors on Glacier. He didn't seem to be a fan of waiting for revives. That's as far as my criticism goes, though; he wasn't a bad team player, as far as I can remember.

Well i agree with all of you. Its not that we try to bash him, he's obviously a capable player +++ He's also a good teammate, at least in the sense that he focuses on objectives, helps when needed and stuff like that. Also an ideal teammate as far as efficiency goes if game success is a priority or need. But when it comes to at least a second high performing player in a full team(he usually waits in the lobby for minimun three players ) , gold stops to provide enough to kill, there's where our problem begins i believe. And it's always gold, never changes the setting adjusting to team

Another akots encounter! We had some fun tanking together on Ghost Hazard, and everyone died a handful of times each. My excuse is that I'd just gone back to the melee KroSent after a full week of playing volus, and I couldn't remember how to melee things anymore. Or do any kind of CQC without dying.

I'm getting 75 kill medal more or less consistently if joining GiP prior to wave 3 and while hosting. Also, I managed to solo gold on my first attempt, so things are getting back to reasonable. And pugs actually are very competent. Surprisingly, there are quite a few newer players and they try their best and fight to the bitter end. Have not seen no whiners or quitters yet. I did get a gold revive medal once but it was dagger hazard and collectors, so it is expected. Fortunately, we all managed to extract somehow in that game.

If you end up passing me again on CP, you are playing too much CHALLENGE POINT LEADERSHIP IS SERIOUS BUSINESS Speaking of which, I bumped yesterday into TornACL. Now, he has indeed accumulated considerable amount of CPs. Staggering amount. Ridiculous numbers. Unbelievable. And no, I really don't care about CP but a few extra here and there are always welcome. I should be hitting 200K in no time. Like maybe a month or two if I manage to play at least twice a week for an hour or two or three or four. We tried to play a few more matches with Torn on my host but it did not work out. Well, there will be another day for that. Instead, I soloed UU/bronze with Krogan shaman using only barrier and it did not even take that long, about maybe 16-18 minutes. Probably, silver might be doable with power amp IV. The main perpetrator is Atlas, pretty hard to kill with only barrier. I then tried to solo with HSent using only tech armor but failed miserably on wave 5 or 6.

I played for a few hours early this morning to leech XP level up my turians. I landed in Pearl s lobby for three games, as noted in the high/low thread. I took a break after that, then ran into xassantex a couple hours later. I was doing quick matches in hopes of finding a lobby or a GIP, but matchmaker was apparently not finding any openings and instead automatically creating lobbies with me as host and xassantex as client, so I kept on having to ditch the lobby and look like a turian racist or like I was pulling an IAI2012 or whatever the hell that one guy's name is. Me actually staying as host would have been terrorism. I quickmatched into two of xassantex's GIPs after that, including a gold/cerb/reactor duo where no one else joined and I quickly realized level 1 Turian Sentinel sure dies quickly when confronted by a single assault trooper in my blind spot. Three times in about thirty seconds, even.

I had decided to host after some catastrophically laggy games . Hope you didn't experience bad lag. Funny thing also is i took kits i never play but i was fed up with my usual ones, with relative success, trying to avoid sync kills on my human vanguard. And you level 1 Turian still beat me .. thanks for staying

Just fell into a lobby with larsdt , xassantex and another name I didn't recognize. (world-something?) Had a nice run of games. Biotic booms on Giant were my favorites. Thanks, guys!
