Interesting point, Andy, very interesting. In my experience, that would, in a weird way, make sense.
I should write this in the PUG thread, but I've had so many encounters with that person that are completely different from the general public, that I'm losing credibility in that subject!

But here is some proof -- and if indeed the good doctor docsteely would be Alientech, that would bring some sense into my experiences!
Just some weeks ago, I had not just one, but two (!) games where s/he was playing absolutely normally like anyone else. My second bet is that they are a BSNer and only doing this goodguy act to mess with me.

And yes, this time I was prepared with pics of it! Ha!


They even kept throwing their turret out for shield healing. It was getting so out of the ordinary, that I even tried searching in N7HQ, whether there is some differently typed name like 'allentech' or 'al1entech' that would look the same. Didn't find any (except the first mentioned one was there but not suitable all-caps font).

Oh, now i remember that game! The host was a BW QMI (?), i joined gip as a Jav GI (or was that a another game? ) on Ghost. I could see the host without problems, but there was this player with this particular long name that was invisible to me. I saw only the game tag floating above the ground and it was really fast. When i was at the ammo box, this player came near me and i was able to see only the poison green effect typical of the cabal; only that, the model was not showing. That's why i didn't respond to your heavy melee, it's because you were glitched to me and i was a bit confused.

Nice meeting you for the first time - and thanks for that game, your classic Claymore Drelldept was nothing short of awesome. That Justicar we had (the host) was also doing very well. And I quite like the screenshot - may I have it? See you again on the battlefield.


Thanks for having me, it was really great to stumble upon you two while pugging, though I sort of ruined the party with my BFGs (and I must confess that I didn't have any equipment when I dropped into your Jade game, so shame upon me, I'm a clear-cut example of a PUG). Seeing Phantrolls and 'goons going down to Tech Armor never gets old - I usually remember that TSent banter on the Citadel (in the Citadel DLC) who was boasting that he would use Tech Armor in any situation, period. So yeah, trying to kill those cheaters with TA? Always justified.
And I'm finally happy with the way my TSent looks - may I steal the pic?

I didn't know it was possible to love that gun... You've just discovered a whole new world for me. Now I'm even thinking about actually trying it once more (well, chances are I'll quickly come to the same conclusion like, "okay, it's still shit, just as I remember it" and leave it aside till the next time I see someone kicking ass with it. And I don't remember you going down much, let alone "in the most stupid ways". And, as I said, going down while trying to TA a Phantroll is always justified.

Yeah, it's most probable that you were using your alt account, because I have a memory of a freaking drell, so I would've remembered your nickname. And thanks for explaining what that JP stands for - just like az in aznitrous in my case, has nothing to do with Azerbaijan.

Nope, it's not "modesty", I won't be satisfied with my Jav performance until I'm able to outscore anyone by a margin of at least 30k. It is totally possible with a Jav, but I still need2gitgud and l2p.

...and I perfectly am aware of the fact that Phasics are the best ammo for the Jav, but there is a reason I was using Disruptor IV, namely because I have only 10 URs left to unlock, but a lot of my consumables have reached the 255 cap, so I have to use them or they'll just go to waste. Sure, in any other case I'd go with Phasics III.

Happy you. I missed nearly one third (maybe more) of my Jav shots in the first game because the targets were already somewhere else when the shot would register. On the bright side, some clear misses scored as hits, too, so it worked both ways.

...and his freaking Chain Lightning Suicidal Drone made me miss the rest of my shots.
