Yes, I go for challenge points. Adds more variety and still helps discover new ways to play and build. Also makes playing Gold difficulty better and more balanced. My challenge points may not seem too high as I also had X-Box 360 and PS3 accounts. Most of my hours were on 360 back in the day (around 3000 hours). These days I'm exclusive to PC. Also, not always played for challenge points, but usually lean toward CP as playing otherwise don't hold my interest as long (gets boring more quickly). Also stratigizing for maximising challenge points and being ahead of the map waves and extractions that build up regardless on thei own is exciting.

Also since signing up to ME3Tweaks, I make Gold even more fun by cranking ennemy health to Platinum numbers (with no change to armor, shields and barriers) and crank the amount of enemies from 8 to 9. Just these simple two tweaks increase the pressure and fun factor by a great deal. At one point had at least one wave of 3 Atlas, Primes, etc, but noticing the pugs may not be into that as much, so eventually after much tweaking with which should be the 9th enemy per wave, eventually settled on something as close to vanilla as possibel. Basically only making the base enemy per wave the 9th enemy. This also helps with challenge point builds, as more mooks help melee builds and weaker weapon uses.
