Which is the best map? Cerberus wasn't playing along very well. Geth are easier, right?

If you want to farm grabs/husks/melee, the best map is Hazard White Gold V. Reapers wave 1. I was doing that yesterday and you can get 20-25 grabs per 5 minutes. That will get you 10% closer to grabs 3/1% closer to melee 3 in Combat Mastery and 2% closer to Husks 3 for Reaper Mastery.

The easiest set up is to use Asari Valkyrie with Small radius annihilation field. AF keeps the husks from immediately jumping the barrier and leg humping you. It has to be the small radius, though, or the husks will stop outside of grab range.

1) Put on Stronghold gear so grenades won't kill you. Bring a light gun.
2) Set map to Hazard white Reapers Gold private. (This is a solo)
3) Immediately run to the far left ammo box.
4) Position yourself behind the barrier facing the ammo box. Keep against the rail.
5) Bring up tech armor and annihilation field.
6) Grab all the things.
7) At the end of wave 1 all of the marauders and cannibals will belly up to the barrier and be too close to grab. Push them back by detonating tech armor, then grab.
8) On wave 2 you will get 2 husks and a brute. Grab the husks and let the brute kill you.
9) Repeat.

This was not my discovery, btw. 

Once again my inexperience with the ways of xbox led me to depart prematurely from a team i was pugging with.

I suspect N7Minty and N7 friends (spelling? *shrug*) et al, who must be bsners, as we all removed our missiles, wondered wtf i was doing bailing a match partway through, when we were wiping the floor with cerby on Hydra.

I was trying to join a party with Clyde, to say i could join after the match. But in my incompetent haste i joined party AND game.

Yes, absolutely. Sometimes the husks jump over the barrier or stop in a place where they can't be grabbed. Then you can get some easy tech armor kills. AF will steal the occasional husk as well, so if you do this 10 or so times you're likely to flip tech armor and annihilation field as well.

Here's a quick video of it in action. I didn't need to BE the marauders, they would have moved into grab range eventually.

crashsuit and TornACL showed up for a quick game on Ghost against Cerberus along with Rygelthe16th. Very smooth game with enough stagger to show phantoms what for.

I really wish I could've stuck around for more but I'd already told my wife ahead of time I was only getting on for one quick game before dinner, figures I'd drop in on friends. Torn is on here too by the way, he's @darkorgasm.

I joined a GIP with Darth Volus facing Cerberus on Giant. You caught me red-handed with the AIU (was chasing IAIsomething, see other thread.) As expected she's crap in my hands. We had a series of nice games, i liked the game on goddess (boom). Sorry i had to go after the dagger-match.

He had the misfortune of attempting to stand staring at the wall on my host, including the Wave 3 Escort, so from Waves 4 onward I /killtarget him every wave to force him to spectate and see what it looks like to actually play the game

Ran into Abramsrunner on Dagger/Cerb not too long ago. It was a GiP, and later discovered that combo was preset... which was marginally better than the Reactor/Cerb, Hydra/Cerb, London/Cerb presets I found after that.

I don't often see a Krysae Cryo Soldier, but that was well played!
