All true but if I were to get every dlc that's 45 bucks... Almost twice the cost of the original game. Can I afford that, yea but damn dude. Just on principal I can't till that price drops.
I gotta say, him disappearing mysteriousness at least better than the end of Trespasser XD. Daym, Solas. But then, I gotta hand it to Bioware, no pun intended, for having the guts to do that.

colonelkillabee i have to say I understand u. I think the DLCs a way too expensive. I bought the other 2 dlcs (the jakkon, the descent) lately for the full price and I was disappointed. Not by the dlcs there were cool but for that amount of money ... the relation money x content is just not fair. they are really greedy. best example are the witcher dlcs of how it should be.. 9 euro for the first one = 12 hours of gameplay. 2nd dlc 16 euro = 40 hours of gameplay. lynroyi have ps4 so 40 ... save files.. I guess that's enough FOR NOW. but I guess I will just delete old characters if necessary. and @ all about that flycam. damn I want that too on the ps4 I envy you so much

Please, ya'll got it cheap! I mean that in the most lovingly smartassed way. Spend a decade playing The Sims! Expansions were 30-40 and stuff packs were usually 20 or more. On top of paying for the game which was 50-70. For The Sims 3 they would sell just a world download for 15-20. They also added the store, where they sold single items for points. Those had to be bought by 1000s for $10 each thousand points, tho you got a slight break if you bought bigger bundles. So each point was a basically worth a penny. And with each game there were either major upgrades to your PC or a new console. Sometimes just to be able to add an expansion required a new GPU or RAM. I play only on the PC, so it meant major over-hauls every 3-4 yrs to keep up. I forget what my first GPU upgrade was in 2003, but by the time Sims 3 came out even the Nvidia GeForce 250 (new at the time) could hardly run the game without overheating. I'm pretty sure it was the Create-a-World Program that fried 2 of those cards. I'm happy with my GeForce 960, but really want the new card Nvidia is coming out with. I've already started saving for it Even with the 3 DLC and the armor packs I have yet to spend as much on DAI as I did on any single part of the sims series. I finally lost interest in the Sims about 6 months after Sims 4 released, and since then it's only been Dragon Age, ES:Skyrim, or ESO. (though I did grab the ME trilogy and the Witcher series when they were on sale this past year) Haven't played either more than a couple of hours. All my free time has been sucked up by DA games or writing fanfics XD. I might still be slightly obsessed with the World of Thedas. Every support group I found, though, is more about enabling that obsession instead of helping one get past it

@ Nimlowyn I didn't know about the subsidies, but that would explain why. ... still ... after buying these 2 dlcs + quanri dlc and so on. It would have been cheaper for me to buy the game of the year edition ... O_o it's just awkward that is all. Thenerasoh my yes I don't wanna think about sims! played 1-3 .. bought number 4 and stopped that game after one day because I was not interested anymore xD (sims3 is my favorite one). so yeah in comparison with sims .. DA is cheaper LOL

It's not even just CD Projekt Red; the Polish government is heavily involved in their video games industry. They really want to bring Poland to the world stage to compete with the US and Canada. It's really interesting (well, to me anyway ) www.ign.com/articles/2016/06/09/witcher-developer-and-polish-government-set-up-fund-for-innovative-gamesAnd so I don't derail.... People were sharing songs that reminded them of Solas earlier. I am also hyped for their Cyberpunk game. hmm I don't really have a song where I think about solas or which reminds me of solas.. I have to think of one oh well i KNOW the fallout 4 ost.. after 100 hours playtime.. I heard this radio way too often. but yeah that fits hahaha

Yeah, the DLCs are kinda over-priced and, in my opinion, generally not worth it. S'why I didn't bother with Hakkon or Descent. And didn't lose much of value for it, if what I hear about it being more disconnected side quest stuff is true. Shame to miss out on the lore, but I can just read up on that anyway. Trespasser gets an exception for being so heavily tied up in the main plot. Solas can be so ungentle - look at how he's holding her arm in that first flycam pic! Looks uncomfortable. And then with non-romanced Inquisitors at the end of Trespasser he is so rough when he takes their hand to take the mark away. Is it wrong that I sort of love it? Not in a BDSM kinda way, but in how it shows the differences between the paths Solas might be treading. Like he's such a jackass on low-approval runs, it's great - he's so cold and uncaring in all his mannerisms and speech, like a teacher with a misbehaving student. Comparing his attitude in the early game/low-approval runs with high-approval Trespasser is so fascinating because of how different and honestly distraught he is in the latter. Blame it on my villain fetish but I think it's neat. I look forward to more Asshole Sleepwalker Solas in the future, if only to compare it to Dying On The Inside Solas.

"Asshole Sleepwalker Solas" XD I dunno if that's the first time I've seen that one or I'm just not remembering but I'm in stitches right now. That's great! lol
Totally agree on loving the relationship-related differences in his actions. It's subtle and really fun to watch.
Reminds me of little touches (sometimes literally) in ME3. Like, if u were in an active ME2 romance with Garrus when u meet him in 3, the way he shook your hand was different than if u were just friends. He held it slightly longer and used both hands. It was a subtle body language thing that is there, but u don't necessarily notice as unique unless u see the scene as a different Shepard. Liara had something similar on Mars, if I remember right. I love that kinda stuff.
If we get that kind of thing next time our inquisitor meets Solas (*team optimism*), I will be very happy.

Oh, Blanketfort, wrap me in your comforting embrace. I've had some trouble elsewhere in the Dragon Age forum universe...trouble I never expected. Let's just say honesty is not always the best policy, even when wrapped in spun sugar and decorated with self-criticism. I love you guys. If I ever piss any of you off, please remember that before you let me have it. My heart can't take the pain, and I certainly never mean to inflict the sort of pain upon anyone else. feel hugged from me I didn't know what happened to you. but I guess honesty depends on how ppl interpret it :-\ it's difficult via messages to send the tone how you say it in your mind.

I guess that's enough FOR NOW. but I guess I will just delete old characters if necessary. and @ all about that flycam. damn I want that too on the ps4 I envy you so much Bioware might be able to pull prices like that if they received subsidies from their government like CD Projekt Red does. Fair enough but hell you could tack on almost twice the cash for those and they'd still be worth the asking price, especially with all the free dlc. That said, I'm not trying to turn it into an off topic thing or a cd Projekt red vs bioware thing either, but if they want me to pay full price 15 bucks for dlc, they better start giving enough content to justify it. Selling those plus 5 dollar dlc after what should have been in the actual dlc is criminal. Those I did not buy and never will half priced or not.

Thanks for sharing, Vhenan Sequitur. It's such a baity article. "Fans are hoping" becomes "rumored to launch" with nothing to go on at all.

DA4 is so not coming out in 2017 at all, but fun to see nonetheless. X)
