As to the Eluvian question - given that the Crossroads are sundered, I think it's unlikely that they constitute one whole network anymore, if they ever did. Morrigan's got a working Eluvian, yeah, but it doesn't seem to lead anywhere particularly interesting - she opens it to a barren dead-end courtyard. So maybe Solas wanted Briala's section specifically - it seems like the biggest and most complete. I figure that the Eluvian Network has suffered the same fate as the Deep Roads.
It was a huge interconnected network that spanned across an entire Empire, but the ravages of time, coupled with a complete lack of maintenance have caused entire sections to collapse or be rendered inaccessible to modern travellers.
You can still use them to travel, but going from point A-B will take longer and require detouring/bypassing any damaged/collapsed sections. That is you're smart and stick to the slower, safer path, rather than risking using a shorter, more treacherous route.
Which should only attempted in the company of a surviving ancient elf who knows the paths. |

He's a good guy, but his speculation can get a bit out there. Also, he didn't link back to the source, which is annoying.
I like this concept art, though, and am curious about Mr. Beat-up Shirtless June-vallaslin-wearer.  Much better than the weird-angled shot that is the one piece of art we have of Felassan. |

I think Asunder is up next - if you go through that guy's instagram you can see some of the art for the upcoming books. |

Speaking of Dalish Elves. I found an indigenous people called the Sentinelese who have similarities of the Dalish, such as repelling all outsiders, and preserving their culture from anyone who wasn't one of them. I found an article of an American missionary who have been killed by the Sentinelese people, and he has been warned by the Indian government not to go to the Andaman Islands. I wonder what that says about us as a society that we have an actual unique word for "bad dream" but not one for "good dream". Also flipping the word "dream" would be "reality".
