It just hit me.

This can't be a coincidence.

Not meaning to harshly shoot you down or anything. I just don't see how the "she" can refer to anyone but Wisdom, given the context and wording. Do you have an idea of who you think it might be, instead?

So in "He comes to me as though the Fade were just another wooded path to walk without a care in search of wisdom.", Solas is the wisdom spirit coming to corporeal Mythal, then?

I've always understood it as his ease to move across the Fade; his experience in traversing it as well as his lack of fear of it. Plus, we know that those who explore the Fade are oftentimes hampered not just by demons lurking in it, but also by things like physical distance - after all the Fade reflects the world it surrounds. It's what made young Solas leave the small village he was raised in to search for new areas to explore... though I think it's been a while since he's gained so much experience and power that distance isn't that much of an issue and he can reach far away places with relative ease.

Plus, we know that Fade has layers and some layers are more difficult to reach than others, as exemplified by Solas expressing deep surprise that Inquisitor has managed to contact him via dreams in Skyhold, which - in his assessment - would be a feat even for a mage.

So whoever he is walking to appears to be experienced and powerful. IMO this fits both Mythal and Wisdom, who isn't just a regular Wisdom spirit. Solas does call her one of his oldest friends, so at this point I'm curious who he's known first - Wisdom or Mythal?

Hi all! Just finished my first playthrough of Inquisition (in which I romanced Solas - I heard only female elves could, so I decided on that as my first romance) and I have so many feels! I'm glad this thread exists.

I desperately want it to be possible to work with Solas to find a better way to remove the Veil that doesn't destroy everything in the world. It seems like it ought to be possible, since elves survived the separation. Right?

Also, I missed Solas desperately when doing the DLC that I missed during my runthrough (because you can apparently only access that area if you are on the first floor of the Skyhold map when you look at the world map?!). Solas, you may have terrible plans for the world, but you're also sweet, helpful, and fun to talk to. Come back to me!

Sit here with us, in the Blanket Fort. We have wine, chocolate, snuggly bunnies and kitties and puppers. Basically we eat a lot of comfort food and hug pets and cry with each other!

No more frilly cakes. I think Solas may have a secret entry to our stash 

Good! I hope he came to steal our cakes and saw us all crying and it made him cry, too! So now he sits alone eating our frilly cakes while weeping because it's the only part of us he can touch now.
