Possibly although I was thinking of chess analogies if the name/title of our hero is going to be Rook, given that Solas is a master at chess. Also, the pink book cover had the wolf head over a castle or rook, so even though that related to Joplin some core elements may have transferred over. I suppose I prefer the idea of chess because that more relates to outwitting him than mere chance but we shall see.   If we get a chess set over the next few months, then that may be significant.

Just had this vision of Solas confronting our hero and saying: "Do you feel lucky?"

Also, I wonder if this increase in Dreadwolf merchandise was meant to coincide with the original release date of this month but when it was delayed they were already committed so had to go ahead anyway.

Solas mentions in the new Dragon Age cookbook. under a spoiler tag in case anyone wants to not be spoiled for the cookbook. there may be more but these are what I can find just now.

Just a random thought, but if Lavellan got captured by Tevinter slavers she probably would be in a worse situation than most.

They might consider her unfit for labor due to the missing arm, so it would be straight to the sacrifice ritual table.

"Never again will we submit". This speculation is moot where my Lavellan is concerned since they would die before allowing themselves to be captured. However, I do wonder how they would get into such a situation in the first place. Based off various associated media, they do seem to be staying away from active service and, I assume, are probably based in Kirkwall seeing as Varric gave them a title there which probably included some land or at the very least a property. Also, if the slavers just saw them as some random elf with only one arm, why would they even bother trying to capture them? After all, they would hardly seem a good investment of their time and effort.

Still, if they were captured and they knew their identity, I think they would find a more lucrative outcome would be to ransom them to either the Divine, Black Divine or Archon. The former would want to ensure their safety, whilst the latter two might well value whatever intelligence they could supply from their time with the Inquisition whether this was about Solas (who by now has made enough waves in Tevinter that the leadership will be taking an interest in him) or the Qun (particularly if they were formerly working with them). In the case of my own Lavellan, they rejected working with the Qun, had a relationship with Dorian and decided in favour of the Archon and Tevinter in the land dispute with Nevarra, so I would think the Archon might well be favourbly disposed towards them and want to secure their services by paying for their release.

I'm surprised how many of those elves I actually know. He even has the Adoring Fan in there! And Aloth! (I haven't actually finished Pillars, but he is definitely one of my favorite companions so far.) I assume the ones just labeled "Pathfinder" with nothing else are Pathfinder tabletop characters? He labeled the one that's apparently from Wrath of the Righteous.
