I imagine that's who we fight in Minrathous, beneath the chantry of Our Lady of Victory that Neve was directing us to. My guess is that there were acolytes there siphoning power or weakening the Fade (or both?) to help with the ritual, since the last of the statues seems to light up when we get to the forest, after the chaos in Minrathous has started.

Is it to much to want to see some sketches of Lavellan? I need to have some manifestation of his longing and sadness

I want to see the drama between an Inquisitor who is trying to redeem Solas and a Rook who just wants to take him down.

It’s so surreal; the hellspiral begins anew.

I was hoping it wasn't just me. It's rather shocking how quickly I was sucked back in.

His eyes were always purple. DAI used outer iris and inner iris colors so sometimes they appeared grey.

Oh, no, not just you at alllll.

It's been 10 YEARS. I had kinda, sadly, moved on. Been in Elder Scrolls Online for basically the past 9-10 years (they are, ironically, celebrating their 10th anniversary this year), been leading a rather large and successful trading guild there for the past 7-8 years, just now getting "gud" enough to start endgame raiding with an organized team. Playing the occasional other game or two with close friends.

And then in comes all this. Seeing Varric in the cinematic trailer was nice, but overall I still felt a little... I dunno, detached, I guess, after all this time.

Until the gameplay trailer. The MOMENT I saw Solas again, my breath caught. It was like your old flame just showing up on your doorstep after a decade. Suddenly, DA:I felt like only yesterday. There's a huge event and a brand new yearly chapter about to drop in ESO next week and I am struggling to stay focused on it now. LOL

Just fell right back deep into it. That fast. That helplessly.

That damned elf. 

And I can't help but imagine, no matter how upset or sad or angry my Lavellan may be, she'd probably have the exact same reaction as I did to finally seeing him again after a decade. LOL

Gotta admit, I stopped playing ESO at the most inconvenient time (and that's despite being there from day 1!) - not long before 10th anniversary celebrations began I've decided to buy myself a copy of Baldur's Gate 3, and got hooked - it was first game in a long time that gave me something I've found only in DA. But just when I started to get comfy within fandom - BAM! Dragon Age is back baby 


I'm trying to tell myself that after a few days of intense SQUEEEEing! and interacting on forums and Twitter I'll probably go back to my own side project, BG3 and regular logging into ESO, but... I can already feel that the wait till September/October/November will be... difficult. Bioware managed to make me very curious about Veilguard.

Been neck deep in BG3 since Early Access 2020. Of course I gravitated to the "puppet" spawn Astarion. It's not that I had written off DA, but after so many years....

I still don't love the model textures for the characters, and I am not happy about gameplay, but I am here for answers. At the very least!
