Many pages ago someone asked me for link to my Skyhold outfit retexture. I finally done it! This would be probably one of the only mods I would've download had I had the PC version (PS4) Really great work, I love the color variations and it looks so nice as an under garment as well! AHHH IT'S SO PRETTY

2017: Mass Effect: Andromeda 2018: New IP (sense it's been in development for years already, I figure it'll be out first) 2019: DA4 (maybe, honestly just an educated guess) That'd give it about 4 years of development time sense Trespasser ended. Okay how about this time line: 2017: Mass Effect: Andromeda 2017.5: New IP 2017.9: DA4 IDK, they'll probably want a year of sales and marketing for the game and subsequent DLCs before moving onto the next one. Trailers are fair game though.

"It's serious, I'm delirious." - Flight of the Conchords, 2009 Hahahaha. If it helps, there is the fact that Solas is now HUGELY popular and important to the series. Morrigan was in the debut trailer for DAI to get folks excited, maybe Solas will be for DA4's!

They must remind players that they hate/like/love Solas and have some backstory shown to new ones. This could also be a good bait, if they have another bigger antagonist planned (I really don't like this idea, I would really wanted them to focus on what they set up in Trespasser).

I think the antagonists are more obvious this time around. The Arcon and/or Arishock/Stenishock (maybe depending on who you side with maybe or maybe not), plus Solas.

A choice between the Tevinter Magisters or the Qun? Huh ... that choice would actually make me think. Slave owning, blood magic using jerks vs. slave owning, brainwashing jerks. There's like no winner there. And to be clear, it's not the blood magic I'm actually against it's the "using slaves as sacrifices" that I'm against. Or rather, "using slaves". Also, don't tell me the Qun doesn't have slaves. If they can't brainwash you into following the Qun then they mindwipe you and turn you into what is essentially government-owned slave labor (qamek). Although, the current Archon is said to like cats. Sadly enough, that might be the deciding factor for me. Edit to add: Yes, I know not all of the people from Tevinter are jerks. Not all of the people who follow the Qun are jerks. I was speaking in an overall sense, not an individual sense.

We can agree that Solas didn't made people tranquil by removing the Vallaslin? That is such a disturbing idea. And the freed slaves loved Fen'harel to the point of worship etc. When I saw the mural for the first time I thought they those other elves were nobles, frowning on the Fen'harel's actions.

Nice to see the Blanketfort lives on! And wow, so many pages already! I was a lurker, especially on the Blanketfort on the old BSN. Big Solavellan fan here. Romanced Solas with my first inquisitor (the lady who is also my avatar) and has been stuck in Solavellan hell ever since... For nearly two years now. So, yeah... Hi!

As I consider Solas as the "villain" for the next DA, what might be a heretical thought came to me. What if instead of destroying the world as he thinks he actually is restoring the world to how it should have been? One thing DA has always been good for is the surprise. I believe what Thedas fears is their power being stripped from them and returned to the elves whom they have enslaved, harassed and generally mistreated over the centuries. With everything back in proper balance, it is possible that all Blights could end since whatever the taint was came from the Fade. I have a hard time picturing Solas as a villain. On the other hand, given their stellar record of attempting to destroy the world with demon armies, I really do not have a hard time picturing the Wardens fighting just to maintain the status quo. After all, an end to the taint means the collapse of their power. Just a thought.

Many pages ago someone asked me for link to my Skyhold outfit retexture. I have finally done it! It took forever to manage all those skin tones, testing in game and uploading but here it is: -snip- It has 3 color variations and tintable variation. All skintones. Retextures not only shirt but pants and boots too. I'm not quite happy with different color variations. If you have any color requests I'm willing to make them. But only in one or two skintones. I hope you like it! This is adorable! It looks really cozy.

On the other hand, given their stellar record of attempting to destroy the world with demon armies, I really do not have a hard time picturing the Wardens fighting just to maintain the status quo. After all, an end to the taint means the collapse of their power. Just a thought. From what I can recall, Solas never actually says he's going to or trying to destroy the world. He says that for his people to rise ours must fall. His original plan was to use the orb to enter the Fade and tear down the Veil which he believed would cause the world to, in his words, burn in raw chaos. It's possible that would have happened but as for what his plans are now, we don't know. I believe it is entirely likely that he still intends to remove the Veil. Whatever he's planning to do, he believes the result will be the destruction of the current people of Thedas. Although what he means by "our people must fall" is open to interpretation. Maybe he's being literal and it simply means the current people in Thedas will die. Maybe he's being figurative and the current political power structures will be erased (our people "falling") and ancient elves will come back and take over (his people "rising"). Even if he's talking literally, does that mean everyone will die or just large numbers of people? I would like to see a Thedas without a Veil. It would make for an interesting world setting. But if there are games to be released later then they'll most likely have to keep the world state the same for everyone. If the devs plan on the Veil coming down then it will come down regardless of our choices. That or a Thedas without the Veil will simply be disappointingly similar to a Thedas with the Veil. Or maybe the change will end up being gradual, maybe we can manage to compromise and have the Veil fade (no pun intended) slowly over time. So many possibilities!

It took forever to manage all those skin tones, testing in game and uploading but here it is: *snip* Wow! Thank you! illyria yep. On it's page on Nexus you can see screenshot with every skintone. I made extra effort to make sure that everything worked fine. You just have to choose the skintone you are using. I numbered them by their slots in CC. The lightest is 1 and darkest is 11. The darkest skintones are strangely too shiny, but I just left it as it was, because the hands and neck have the same specularity and it would look strange if the shoulders would be more matte. Excellent work with skin tones, most others just create light, medium, and dark instead of the whole spectrum. I will test this on one of my Lavellans when I get off work.

Hey. I'm middle of Solavellan playthrough, but I somehow managed to start romance with Blackwall though I did turn him down after one scene. I'd like to ask if someone knows if I can still romance Solas? I have done main quest with alliance with mages, but I haven't done one with Hawke and Greywardens and Civil War one yet. I'm almost embarrassed to say that in my first PT I was sneak romanced by Blackwall. I stated off flirting with everyone because I hadn't chosen my flavor yet. When I got to Skyhold, I stumbled into the Solas Fade scene, and Lavellan's fate was sealed. A short time later I was shocked to discover that Blackwall thought we were an item. I quickly ended things with him, and continued on with the Solas romance with no problem. I know this is pages back but I can't keep up during the work week . This happened to me, too. I only found out when I was chatting up Cullen and he mentioned Blackwall. I was like.. Wth noo haha.

You could be onto something. I do think that Solas' role in DA4 won't be as straightforward as people usually assume. Considering how little we actually know there are a lot of different ways they could take things. Personally I'm hoping they throw in some kind of twist. I love Solas, he is a very interesting and unique character but l don't think he alone can make the tired and pat "big bad" type of plot less boring.
