I know may be we've moved on from the debate on the previous pages but I've just been over to the Keep and in the Trespasser section they do have a strange way of indicating that the Inquisitor's story is over:
ATTEMPT TO REDEEM SOLAS
The Inquisitor believes that Solas is making a tragic mistake and intends to redeem Solas, if possible.
STOP SOLAS AT ALL COSTS
The Inquisitor considers Solas beyond redemption and commits to stopping him at all costs.
That very much makes it their call what happens to Solas. Doesn't seem like closure to me.
Mind you, the use of the words "redeem" and "redemption" suggest a religious viewpoint about the matter, which is particularly strange if the Inquisitor is agnostic or atheist. I intend to try and get Solas to think again about his plans but no one can "redeem" him but himself. |

Also, red lyrium generates heat (Dorian comment in EdL) so the cold weather likely keeps the RTs from overheating. Cole also says at some point that the red lyrium is angry. I guess being full of the blight could do that to a....er, rock?  |

I have driven by their Edmonton studio so often. It is well-camouflaged inside a multi-purpose building that houses a hotel and dentist offices, among other things. Now I kind of want Solas' HQ in DA4 to be in an inn in Solas, Tevinter. ETA: Top of page regretful Solas. He regrets thinking he could hide in plain sight in an inn in Solas, Tevinter.  AETA: ESPECIALLY because it's an inn that has a room permanently rented by a barber who pulls teeth with no anesthetics except, if you're lucky, some elfroot. |

Gone for a few days, and 12 pages appear. Things here move fast! I enjoyed catching up.
The very real possibility that this may be it for the Inquisitor is frustrating. The philosophies of the Mass Effect and Dragon Age teams have always been divergent, in certain ways. They should really consider taking a page out of the "Shepard Playbook" in this case. Thedas already has enough superheroes, for starters. More importantly, a hero like the Inquisitor does not walk away from a job like this, leaving it unresolved. Lastly, things are definitely not resolved for the players; things for Lavellan Solasmancers in particular are very much unresolved.
I'm well along in my new (very completionist) playthrough. I will assault Adamant Keep tomorrow afternoon. I've not yet played any of the story-DLC content, but it's been nice to consistently encounter items that were added via Trespasser DLC. I will likely respond to the dwarves, and begin "The Descent", once Adamant's fallout is fully resolved.
