And his DAI clothes probably had a little to do with 'hiding in plain sight,' but also...that's just who he really is. A nerdy mage dude.  Perhaps there will be some clue in the Fade about what his normal casual wear might be. Or his inner sanctum in the Lighthouse will eventually reveal a wardrobe of his favourite clothes. I believe there are several stages to it, so only the first one has been teased in some of the game play reveals. Also, if you were in a romance with him the final one will have a picture that he painted of Lavellan based off what you put in the character creator (perhaps that is hoping for a bit too much detail but you never know, he may at least get the hair the right colour)  |

Honestly, i think that even if we'll see him in casual clothes at the Lighthouse, i doubt it will be his DAI's clothes. I always thought that the reason why dressed like this was not to raise suspicions about him. No, I don't expect he would be wearing the exact same clothing. But just something more relaxed. And his DAI clothes probably had a little to do with 'hiding in plain sight,' but also...that's just who he really is. A nerdy mage dude.  Yea, but the whole point of his appearance in Inquisition is that his nerdy persona can peek out of the Dread Wolf mask he's otherwise hiding behind. And while we're yet to see how he's going to be fully portrayed in Veilguard, I think we're dealing more with Dread Wolf than Solas, at least initially - with Solas persona likely being relegated more to memories of him of those who knew him personally prior to events in Veilguard (Varric, Inky, Harding).

I scrolled through MrMattyPlays review to hear the part about solavellan impact (he thinks out of all choices in CC it has the most impact. It is a shame we don't talk to him that much though, only 4 conversations before he gets out of the Fade.) and saw a few new out of context shots of Solas. and i know I say it for like 20 time in this thread, but damn he is hot.
