Drinkquisition - NINE years drunk!

Pre-Christmas rush has been pretty quiet at work this year...normally don't finish until around 7.30pm, but did it all by 6pm

I remember many years ago I worked at Super Pets, and the staff were going to have a party after work hours so one of the Cashiers had a HUGE tank of Helium underneath her register. Then there was a huge storm that knocked out the power, so we had to ask all the customers to leave. After everyone was cleared out the staff played Hide n' Seek, while sucking down the helium and making crank on-calls over the PA system.

That was almost as fun as the halloween I worked in tha back of the house at a local bar....was stoned from cleaning chemicals, and then had to close after more than a few pints (of mixed green smoothies....because you know, bunnies love their greens). I saw an old man in a pink ballerina tutu and a white unicorn with a rainbow coloured mane.

And this was all before I started pounding back the green stuff.

I've had an involuntary 2 hour nap.

Senior citizen status confirmed.

*shuffles around looking for glasses that are on my head*

I must really be old then...because my so-called 15 minutes can very easily turn into 3 solid hours of the most restful sleep ever.

PS:  I'm always looking for things, because I always put them down in the oddest places then forget about them until I need them again....then I tear the house apart looking for whatever it is, and it's only after I find it that the memory of putting that there comes flooding back to me.

We broke with family tradition this year (sadly) and did not watch Die Hard, nor did I watch any B&W classics like "it's a wonderful life" or the original "Miracle on 34th Street".


But there's still time before I go back to work, and I'll be working from home until January 25th
