And managed to get the good ending, despite using lethal force all the time and *ahem* enjoying the splendors of the cabaret. Wait, supporting the local businesses earns you a bad morale point? Those dark ones sure as hell have no idea!

Those dark ones sure as hell have no idea! And you even get a moral point for getting hammered at Venice too. That system was bullshit. If watching a strip is evil, shouldn't Artyom fucking Anna result in a nuclear explosion?

And I don't understand the logics, if nobody watches that women in the club dancing because its morally no longer acceptable she will lose her job, which can be a death sentence in such harsh environment.

Yeah. And it was clear she even liked doing it (probally because Artyom must look a lot better then her regular costumers). I see no moral problem in enjoying the fine splendors of life! Another moral point that is nonsense is sparing Lesnitsky. I understand you need to teach good values to the little dark one, such as mercy. But there is no benefit in letting a psycho such as him walk free. He will certanly kill again if given the chance.

Both Metro games are currently on sale on GOG. 4.99€ instead of 19.99€. Yep true the two Metro games for 9.98 € on GOG and i have watched the trailer and it looks promising.

I managed to get the good ending for Last Light on my first playthrough, but 2033's good ending still evades me. Before Exodus releases I'll have to do some research and write down all of the moral points I need to acquire.

Game Informer headlines Exodus for its March issue. Here is a hub of links you can click on. Nothing spoilery, but it paints a very interesting picture of the kind of game we're getting: www.gameinformer.com/p/metroexodus.aspxNot gonna lie, I am getting pretty excited

Maybe this can be the successor S.T.A.L.K.E.R. deserves. I can’t wait for it to release.

Maybe this can be the successor S.T.A.L.K.E.R. deserves. I can’t wait for it to release. Its certainly beginning to look that way. I have not had the pleasure of playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. but what little knowledge I have of it seems to indicate that Exodus will be a pleasing ride for those who have. Every tidbit they release only makes things more attractive. In one of the articles stemming from the link I posted earlier, there will be a section of the game taking place in a desert-like environment. There will definitely be some Mad Max vibes there. And the new morality system sounds great too. Not as strict as the last titles but still involved in the end of the story.

Haven't ever played any Metro, but I like trains so why not look at it. Isn't it the guys who also did Stalker?

Isn't it the guys who also did Stalker? Not sure, but there are certainly similarities with the theme. Looked it up - Stalker devs (GSC) are defunct - 4A was founded by a couple of former GSC fevs.

You could skip the games and read the books, which would give you deep story and get you just about to the point where Exodus would start. I've watched my kids play the games a ridiculous number of times and I prefer the books. There were significant differences between the worlds.

GDC 2018 Tech Demo - NVIDIA RTX Real-Time Ray Tracing in Metro ExodusWe are happy to announce our collaboration with NVIDIA using RTX technology to include real-time ray traced Global Illumination in our upcoming game, Metro Exodus. This demonstration shows RTX implemented and running in Metro Exodus, on our proprietary 4A Engine, using actual game content - you might recognise this environment from our 2017 E3 trailer! We have utilized true raytracing to render both Ambient Occlusion and Indirect Lighting in full realtime, in a practical in-game scenario. “Previously, we had utilized a mix of several custom-made systems to satisfy our hungry demand for dynamic content of varying scale. Now we are able to replace it with one single system that covers all our needs and outputs the quality of offline renderers.” - 4A Games’ Chief Technical Officer, Oleksandr Shyshkovtsov. Check out the full blog post on our website for more information: www.4a-games.com.mt/4a-dna/2018/3/22/nvidia-reveals-collaboration-with-4a-games-on-rtx-technology-at-gdc-2018

I'm usually not fond of shooters, much less first person ones, but If I don't remember correctly I tried this game in a boring summer 6 or 7 years ago, the enhanced versions of the first two games, and i'm certainly looking into this one.

Yeah, it was announced a while back it'll be delayed until 2019. I blame Red Dead Redemption (I'm joking). Oh well, at least we'll have a trailer on chritsm- I mean E3.

I loved these games for the atmosphere and immersiveness, I really hope going to the surface for more than just a quick mission doesn't ruin it. I liked the the "holy shit, can't be up here for very long because of the radioactive fallout" feeling of the surface levels in the first 2 games, but I'm not sure how longer than that will feel.

I played and kind of liked the first one but had a tough time getting the hang of the controls on mouse & keyboard - I never could tell if I was managing the gas masks correctly, IIRC.

This thing looks so fucking awesome it's unbelievable. Damn it about the 2019 release, but oh well. Seems like the "openness" is gonna be beneficial. I love the atmosphere, but the trips to the surface were always a place to breathe a little bit from the metro itself. They seem to be nailing the outside bit.
