Hmm...I like nearly all of them, but Cole may take the vote for me. I remember wanting to talk to him a lot and being disappointed when he had the least to chat about.

I had a tough time choosing between Cassandra and Dorian. I love them both dearly, my Inquisitors are always friends with both, in some cases they'd been sufficiently close that they'd had to be taken aside and told politely by Cass and Dor that they're friends but they're just not that into them. Cassandra won, in many ways because Cassandra's just more useful in terms of combat, and thus I take Cassandra everywhere, and secondly because I feel that Cassandra has had to overcome her own prejudices and assumptions to become friends with my Inquisitors. To befriend Dorian you have to see past your own prejudices, with Cassandra you feel she's done the same in return. Cassandra's a brilliant character, tough and strong and stoic but at the same time, loyal and compassionate, a woman of faith who lets its guide her rather than blind her. She's developed well too, when she cropped up in DA2 she was kind of an awesome bitch, and somebody you could see as coming from the same place as Meredith, but in Inquisition you really get to know her and you discover her warmer side. I'd say softer, but that's not something I'd say about Cassandra ever, she's fierce, in all senses of the word. Her love, compassion and tenderness are as strong as her aggression and fury. I also think Miranda Raison did an amazing job voicing her. That bit over the credits in Trespasser just make me want to fall about laughing every time, it's possibly my favourite thing in Dragon Age. I love Dorian too, another well written character and well acted. I love the way he uses his flamboyance and aloofness, i guess, to hide the fact that he's a scared and lonely little boy underneath. He's not quite as clever as he claims to be, just in the same way as he's not as nonchalant as he claims to be. Once he feels more settled and welcome he reveal how much he cares, often about stuff he never thought he'd care about, like weird elf girls.

Dorian, because well, it's Dorian and he's my bestie, always. Solas, because he's an intriguing guy. And Cole, mainly because I love the relationship he has with Solas. But in all honesty there are things I like about all (or at least most) of the characters.

I voted for Dorian in the poll, but it's very hard to choose between him, Solas, Cole, and Cassandra.
How can anyone not love Dorian? All the snark and sass, and yet he's a very complex character. Those are just his defense mechanisms. And I love how he gradually becomes best friends with the inquisitor until you know he'd always have your back, no matter what. Plus he's from Tevinter, and I love Tevinter. I can't wait till we go there in DA4.

It's a tough race between Cass, Dorian and Sera. Screw the rules. I pick all 3.

Cole. I love him very huggy much, and he has such interesting things to say, and his hat makes me happy.
Honorable mention to Blackwall for being practically immortal and Vivienne for being a glorious whirlwind of snark and destruction.

My favorite will always be Varric with Dorian as a close second (but since he has already a lot of votes, mine goes to my favorite dwarf), but I like most of them.

That was a tricky choice because I generally always have my favourites Cassandra, Sera and Dorian in my party. Cassandra wins it. I appreciate the sturdiness of her character and her shield between myself and the enemies.

Love Cassandra. She is such a well written character and Miranda Raison's voice acting is fantastic, imo.

Voted Cass - best character in DAI. And I adore Cole - wish he'd been a Love Interest. I know Varric was meant to be everyone's best friend but I find him rather meh. I rarely take Vivienne with me, since I head cannon she's acting as a sort of chancellor for the Inquisition, but when I do I always laugh when she kills something and hollers: "IT'S DEAD!" I rarely take Solas anywhere past the prologue since he's a sneering, condescending prick. I alternate between Cass and Blackwall for the tank position even though I do think he is the better of the two. I don't recruit Iron Bull anymore and while I recruit Sera she stays at the inn. Finally Dorian... I greatly dislike the fact they made him into the stereotypical gay, complete with the snarks and the fabulous sass. As if there was only one type of homosexual male.

Iron Bull, Sera, Dorian. That's my party most of the time. I find the other companions just too uptight and serious about things. Dorian and Iron Bull flirting is just something you can't skip and you never know what Sera might say next. That being said, I still absolutely love all the other companions as well and how unique they are.

I Agree with you, except that I like Bull, and instead Cole I rather wish as LI Cullen or/and Blackwall. Cassandra is great, I like her, Cole is weird I like it, usually I put him in my group, Varric was better in DA2 (just as Hawke...), I dislike Vivienne, but she can be fun for example with Cole, how she terrified by "demons"; Justice would be nice in group with her! Sera is simply annoy me, I don't like take her, but have one-two good moment, for example in the Redcliffe Castle, and in the Fade (in Fade I also like Bull's reaction...). Oh, yes... Dorian. He was the reason, why I finished first my second character, and why he romanced finally Cassandra... (Later finished my Dorian romanced character, and started a new, but, I still not really satisfied with Dorian's character. This...): WTF, my love?! REALLY my taste is the most important thing here???

Cullen as a male LI goes without saying - what a missed opportunity there to be bold *shakes head*. Blackwall without a beard isn't bad looking (there's a mod for that) - but I loathe beards - or portable road-kills as I call them.

About Blackwall and his beard: The beard can be nice, true, I prefer rather shorter, because I like to see the face. But with beard or without, I like Blackwall, I know, I'm in minority.
