Yeah, like the Crusader isn't bugged I didn't say that but at least there is a fix for it and it works perfectly with it. I can't make the Saber work however. Been wanting to like it ever since the game launched but like I said: use a SR or Crusader instead and you are usually better off.

I much prefer to GI Saber than Crusader though, because I never fixed my Crusader. Shooting where you were aimed at .3 seconds ago (+/- lag) is harder to do do than one would think. Once you get into the groove it is not so bad, but it does make me question the Devs reasoning.

I think you should apply the fix and see how it feels and then enjoy your trip to headshot heaven with the Crusader

The Saber is to ARs what the Crusader is to Shotguns, it's just that BioWare hates ARs, so it is slightly less effective (though has a much better clip size) than the Crusader. As for SRs, you're best off comparing it to the Valiant, which is a sad comparison, the Valiant is a beast, and no AR will ever compare to it in any way.

Saber and Carrier will outdepz the Valiant pretty much all the time if used right. Typhoon and PPR too.

Saber has much lower OSK potential than the Valiant. As to the rest, Typhoon is spray, Valiant is precision, apples and oranges. PPR is absurdly dependant on level, under level 8, it's trash, and has a maximum range, meaning it is irrelevent to compare it to a Sniper Rifle. In all seriousness, which of these weapons performs best is highly variable, depending on two specific things - Map and Player. A poor player will never be able to use a precision weapon well, and long range weapons (especially Snipers) are hindered on Glacier, where short-range weapons are hindered on Rio (as examples). No one weapon is best at all things (as it should be). IMHO, Saber, Lancer, and Wraith are the weapons closest to best in all situations, and each of them has their own personality/strength.

How can a Saber have less OSK potential if it does more damage per shot than the Valiant? Carrier is not a POS it's just so good it's boring.

Harrier is POS, would rather use the Revenant Lol, that's all I have. Carrier is not a POS it's just so good it's boring. Carrier is everything I picture when I think assault rifle. Accurate to range, heavy hitting, and has a great beefy sound (it's the full auto M-14 without the kick), but I agree it's so good it makes anything lower than Plat boring.

Ok, conceded on the damage, I remembered incorrectedly, just checked (haven't had them on the same level for a while). Though I will point out that Valiant does benefit from the Multiplicative sniper bonus of a lot of Infiltrators, which closes the gap. You will never, ever, convince me that the Harrier is not terrible, and you will never convince me to use it again. You can like it as much as you want, but I detest it. I was not joking when I said that I would rather use the Revenant. EDIT: I would also like to add the use difference, I have never used Phasic on the Saber (Always AP), yet I always use it on the Valiant, this might be part of what skewed my OSK view.

I'd like to nominate the Flamethrower. No matter where you are, no matter how far away and how many walls are between you and it, the thing is ALWAYS FULL NOISE. No wonder we Vorcha love the damn thing. The Geth Pyro can just tune it out.
I'm sure my team mates love it when I get in that Pyro mode, where your Vorcha gets that twitch and *GRRRRRRRRRAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*!! Burn all of the things!
BIG MONSTAH!
