Was reminded 5A exists as an option for volus... Don't underesimate the batarian mitten. A well timed shield boost will give you enough I-frames to deal with most 1v1 encounters. Video somewhat related.

Was reminded 5A exists as an option for volus... Don't underesimate the batarian mitten. A well timed shield boost will give you enough I-frames to deal with most 1v1 encounters. Video somewhat related. I use their heavy melee bubble instinctually now. Batgaunt is fun on the vanguard but it tends to get me killed when I bubble and the things bubble does don't happen.
