Will give this a try tomorrow, have run out of time for today only got an hr. Cheers Never enough time. Work, kid, family then games in that order in my life. LOL very true. I am not working ATM (haven't for 6 years) but I am still lucky to get anymore than a couple of hours gaming in on any day unless I pretend house work etc doesn't exist. Looking after a house with two teenage kids and a wife that works full-time is a full-time job in itself!!!!

Yay its not just me, I struggled with Lance too On my first PT, I used Lance for half the game before switching to Throw (Adept with Pull/Singularity/Throw). I was too spoiled by auto-targeting powers since 2010. At some point, I decided to give it another go and found my aim was much more crisp. I was probably just out of practice during that first PT more than anything. For this build, I don't find it hard at all to hit. I've only had one enemy dodge a Lance all game. Generally, I'm Lancing a target that I've momentarily staggered by Energy Drain or lifted by Annihilation. It's almost never my opening attack against a target. Throw is fun and classic, but Lance hits dramatically harder in SP. It's definitely my detonator of choice for Adept builds.
Yeah, my issue other than its lame throwing animation on lance is its too big so it hits cover, can't shoot through the hole on the nullifier etc. Its precision oriented but the size of a basketball. It does a crap ton of damage though, on boss fights like vs destroyers its very noticeable.

It occurred to me yesterday that the motion is pretty much exactly the overhand throwing motion of ancient warriors using the javelin. It could be that the throwing motion has a logical, meaningful origin. They went to the real world source for the biotic javelin/lance. I've actually had pretty good success scoring headshots on enemies in cover. It felt like the Radius evolution, which increased its Radius to 2m, actually gave it a more generous headshot sweetspot. Lining it up is pretty much the same as lining up a gun. I score fewer confirmable headshots with Lance, but part of that is likely because it doesn't always kill. My gun headshots always kill.

Most definitely, especially if you like not having money!!!! Yeah, being broke, and perpetually sick and/or in pain is the best! 😖 I used to always joke about aspiring to become a "Professional Man of Leisure", but my path to that reality wasn't close to what I had in mind. The extra hobby time is probably the only positive I can pick out of the whole mess; and even downtime can suck when it's a necessity instead of a choice.

The extra hobby time is probably the only positive I can pick out of the whole mess; and even downtime can suck when it's a necessity instead of a choice. Exactly this. I used to dream of having time to do whatever I wanted whenever I wanted, well I have that now but without the money its all pretty difficult. The main positive I have taken from it has been being able to spend time with my kids and being there for them in a way my parents never did. But I often feel more stressed than when I had a high flying career simply cause living month to month in terms of money is damn stressful. Anyway don't want to complain as there are a lot people worse off than me. I think the only other benefit is not having to live a false life in a shitty corporate world where people are self serving and two faced and dealing with all the politics etc.
