The notifications stay onscreen forever, these ones were there for 3 games straight before I made this post. What's funny to me is how they have a little [x] on them but you have no cursor to click on them.  Why do I even bother, if you don't even read my advices. Ugh... I will fite you  Because at that time I'd already gotten rid of them by turning it off and back on again. |

Origin decided to make a voice call between me and my friend and surprised both of us, since none of us has ever used that (I really wonder if anyone has, tbh). Moreover, the whole thing looked as if it was my friend who actually called me - and, according to what my friend told me, it looked as if I was making the call. This far, I have no idea what it was.
So, the recent update indeed was intended to boost those "social" features this brilliant piece of software has to offer. I guess I'll have to eat my words when I said that the best slogan for Origin would be "Disconnecting people". They're improving.

The same, I've only just got going on pc so I have no idea wtf all this is. I had that a few days ago. It goes away after randomly clicking on one or the other option after 5 or 6 restarts. Does not seem to do anything to anything. Most likely, they just want to get access to the local user folders. Which is not happening. My local saves are mine and nobody else can peak in them, no permission for Origin or anything else. The thing is, I never played single player on this PC, so there are no local or cloud saves because on my old PC I did not have any cloud sync. This is really a glitch as cloud and local save folders are both empty.  |
