I certainly would. It would bring more variety in gameplay and more depth to groups in particular during Strongholds and endgame content.
If you agree, would you rather see the existing Javelins being able to specialize for these roles or wholly new Javelins dedicated to Melee and Support?

I don't. This kind of division brought quite a few problems for SWTOR after a few years when the player population reduced and finding tanks and healers to fill slots for Flashpoints and Operations started becoming a challenge on itself.

Melee weapons for existing Javelins? Sure, why not.
Support Javelins? Absolutely not.

I'd like to see a support javelin at some point but more akin to Warframes Trinity, a warframe thats welcome but not necessary, the last thing i want is for the attitude of only x an y javelins allowed, first an foremost a player should be able to pick an play whatever javelin they want an for that javelin to be as viable as the next

I want a support javelin with tons of utility and indirect means of attacking, but I don't want a healer javelin. I'd also really like a melee specializing javelin, especially if they're able to create a robust moveset for the varying weapon types.

I wouldn't mind, though it's not my playstyle, but only after launch. I want them to balance these 4 they have perfectly, and THEN maybe add other javelins to the mix at a slow trickle, so they don't upset the balance.
I definitely hope one of the javelins is power focus for combo's (storm or ranger?). I want my michael bay sentinel from MEA back.

Yes, there has to be a javelin for people with the moxy to lariat a one-hit kill dispensing abomination while the ranged filth is working on their background act.

A support one (enemy debuff, crowd control, etc...) certainly, I want it But for the melee one, I'm not sure they can do better than Warframe

That is my concern as well when it comes to support classes. Its why I am concerned if they decide to go down the path of the holy trinity is that a few months down the line its going to be hard to find tanks and healers to complete content. Its something that World of Warcraft struggles with right now for I have a DPS only class that I have played since launch and there are days where its 15min or more to find a group, but my hybrid class can find a group in less then a minute.

Playing healer is annoying since you have to keep several players alive and tanks need to know tactics very well. Few people are willing to do that, even more when there is always some brat crying the healer/tank let him die.

I certainly would. It would bring more variety in gameplay and more depth to groups in particular during Strongholds and endgame content. How, exactly? Have you played many MP or coop PvE games? Unless you have a very disciplined group to play with, support suits will never get used. Who wants to play a healer or engineer when you can blow shit up or knock shit down more easily? I’d much rather see superhero variations on suits. Like an AntMan suit that makes you small or a Hulk suit that makes you as big as a Titan. Then you could wrastle those mofos.

EV, Blessing etc can bore ppl to death i'll admit, bit like healing in general i suppose, but whats great is if yer bored swap out mods an go abating link an tank, be interesting to see the upgrade system in Anthem in that regard.
Main thing is choice an, hopefully, much like warframe, overtime the choices/playstyles grow an expand

My hope is that there is enough flexibility with attachments and loadouts that people can create a defacto healer or melee class if they're so inclined...as opposed to shoehorning people into specified roles. I think it creates an overall more satisfying experience for players when they can tweak their builds to accommodate their preferred playstyle. Frankly, I think healing and support mechanisms should be a party-wide responsibility rather than placed on one person. It's more logical assuming combat in these games is to be grounded in any sort of reality. On a real-world battlefield you'll often find combat medics, but that doesn't eliminate the individual soldier's responsibility to apply a field dressing or tourniquet when necessary.

It took me ages to unlock syndicate stuff, but my latest streak earned me lots. They can be real game changers. And on that note, I'd be happy to go full melee like Eternal War Valkyrie in any game.

Melee centered javelin yes without a second thought. A "support" javelin only if it's done properly, just like i really hope the colossus as "tanky" javelin.

Blessing is affinity range I gather and that shouldn't be affected by the range malus from the corrupted range mod.

But you can easily counter it with a Stretch mod, 90% range is totally acceptable You'll also need some Strength to get the max 75% DR (or is it 85% ?), but mainly duration to get around 20 seconds of Link/Blessing

I think I'm with the majority here and would love to see a melee loadout but I'm totally against the support role. In my head I imagine us being fully offensive wreaking balls and I can't picture anything other then that.

Something along the lines of Virtuoso hero from DA:I's MP would be cool to see in Anthem. Like a javelin built around rotating buffs, debuffs, and AoE abilities, that would bring an interesting flow to the combat I feel.
