I would normally play the Welcome Back Kotter theme for you, but it might psychologically break some of us.
So, welcome back! Quick-match can take longer than it used to, but I still PuG most of my games.
Soloing is definitely still a thing. Hell, I even completed a Platinum solo. Beat 33 minutes, and you are even less scrubbier than me.
Prestacious' Challenges are there if you want some flavor.

It also seems like the people who still play are much better on average than they were back in the day - makes sense, the game is six years old at this point, so the people who are playing are likely to be more invested. There's still the occasional match where I have to really sherpa people to the finish line, but it's way less common than when I last played in 2014/2015. The only major difference is that Platinum pugs seem to be a wasteland full of nothing but regret and despair, with queue times sometimes taking 15-20min before finding a match or filling a lobby I host. Kinda sucks, but I always liked Gold more anyway so it's no skin off my nose. |
