If I could I would petition with millions of followers who suddenly all love Andromeda to bring back BioWare Montreal's developers, particularly its writers such as Neil Pollner or Joanna Berry (PeeBee and Cora and Andromeda science lead) and create the second, darker chapter where we learn:
- The mysteries of the Jardaan and Scourge - Culminate the Kett and Angaran war - Establish the premise for the third story of the sage and next game (trilogy-style! ) - See Ryder's reputation grow based on our psychological profile and choices in Andromeda 1 (I.e. "Oh look guys, it's that comedian pathfinder human...") - Start the game off with softcore space porn in Ryder's room before the tone shifts into its ominous second act in which the new, true threat is established and calls Ryder to action - Find out what happened to Space Dad and Jien Garson and ??? (our secret G-Man benefactor dude/girl/elcor) - Figure out how to do wormhole time travel which explains Illusive Man's impossible sums of money and a way to retcon ME3.

Yes, I would like to see some of the Montreal team be given a second shot at developing their concepts further... and better.

I agree with most of that, except the wormhole thing and the space porn. Also depends on what you mean by darker.

You forgot this: discover new alien races, perhaps enslaved by the kett.

Are they gonna be the same or like the trilogy? Personally i preffer the latest. Also have the option for all the romances to have a more sweet approach.

Hasn't the first one been explained before?
Even in the game iteself?
No big surprise here either and in my opinion the Khett are not the big bad they are the thralls of something far greater or far worse the enemies of it. That or they are just Venom clones of clones of clones of DNA convergence. Why else would the Archon want control of Remnant Tech so bad? For sheer power alone? I doubt it. While the rest fear that which they face he knows the trouble that is brewing and is willing to risk everything to get the tactile advantage.
Explains why the majority of the Khett have not even paid us any attention. Khett High Command: "Oh invaders from another galaxy?" "Pfft. Send a scout force to stop them. They aren't worth our time."
Most likely would tie in with the previous two.
He died. She died.
The galaxy died. T.I.M. Died.
Leave it in peace.

Keeping the overall tone of the characters and universe but with more tension and energy. I imagine an opening scene setting the tone where Ryder wakes up with their LI which introduces their characters and is an effective nod to players with save-import, they have it chill but on the horizon of space outside the Tempest's window a new sort of Scourge phenomenon appears far off in the distance but enough that Ryder with their knowledge of Meridian and Jardaan knows that what they see is not good. The game will then expand to the nextmost cluster to Heleus and reuse locations like the Nexus and Aya from the previous game but primarily spends the player's time making them explore the new galaxy where the new threat is explored and eventually becomes a race against time near the end of the game where Ryder has to work together with new and old friends to save Heleus from the threats of the new cluster.

Ah, okay on the tone. There are a lot of ways something can be darker so was curious which you meant. As for waking up with the LI, I’d rather they not do that since not all the romances necessarily involve that kind of relationship and it would suck if they made it that way without player input.

If PeeBee you wake up naked in bed with tasteful censored camera cuts. If Vetra Ryder wakes up and she sits by the desk talking to SAM etc.

The first thing the writers (new or old) need to do is jettison PeeBee and Cora out the damn airlock. Both of them are bottom of the barrel shitfest...

I would jettison the asari and Kosta. Those two have no use. Too bad there wasn't an option to kick them off the roster in MEA for what they did

So for example Sarah and Suvi could be working on some science thing while drinking tea, Cora could either be in bed or looking out the window stargazing depending on which path is chosen, characters off the ship could be talking to Ryder over the computer about something, etc. That way it respects the players choices rather than forcing a certain kind of romance on them. Do you mean like how explicit the scenes would be? Also what do you mean by having a more sweet approach? Yes. I mean having a non romantic option like cora's and jaal's. You mean non-sexual right? Even the non-sexual paths have romance in them. Also Jaal's non-sexual path is a lie. But yeah, I would really like that if there aren't non-sexual romances that at least there are a full path for that in the romances if you choose it. Though I would still like it where that was the only path, like how some have sex mandatory.

There isn't anything really saying they won't address those things in future titles for I don't think EA has given up, but Mass Effect is in a BioWare rotation and they don't talk or even really acknowledge future games until the prior ones ship. So we will have to wait until the next Dragon Age game ships before they they start talking about Mass Effect, which has been BioWare's track record for awhile now.
I don't follow developers as closely as others, but the majority of BioWare Montreal team is just part of Motive Studios which is conveniently located in Montreal.
The one thing I disagree with it "darker" I "darker" doesn't always mean better look at the DC movies, they went dark and make Andromeda look like fun. If it fits within the story they want to tell then it will work, but if they are just forcing darker tones into the game to appease what people are wanting its going to crash and burn again.

Honestly I sometimes want them to go all-out on the MW connections. Like in shocking ways. The feeling being a continuation from the Kett/Remnant/Outlaw problems in MEA of "Well we're in over our heads." instead of MET's "Impending death".
The next game becomes like part 1 of a 2 parter, with MEA itself being like a prologue or setup. It ends on a relatively dour note (almost as bad, or worse than DA2?), but it won't have lost all hope and the game after will be more optimistic.
-Cora is related to Cerberus (and TIM to an extent); she doesn't know this, and it really changes her when and how she finds out; she may have a destiny of sorts that she thinks is bullshit yet she keeps drifting towards it. She ends up not resolved about her leadership issues, and
-Vetra is the daughter of Saren; she may have had negative suspicions of the man, but events really affect her; she takes actions that are more and more ruthless by necessity, but the knowledge of her father destroys her sense that she's really doing the right thing
-Peebee has a family secret that she actually knows about; her mother mated exclusively with asari but that changed with an elcor? could be just a fun conversation, could be a backstoryyyy, and considering her talents, I like to think its some idea of an asari supremacist parent that learned such dark things about the asari that she tried to be the opposite as before, and PB just wants away from it all
-Liam may actually have a fine family; his issue is that while the crush of Andromeda's events had him teetering on breakdown, information re:Milky Way mixed with other stresses has him actually breaking down, his idealism shattered. Perhaps there can be a family disappointment here too, ha!
-Drack is the crusher; he loves everyone by the end of MEA, pretty much, but he will die(!) losing faith in the Tempest/Initiative/Ryder and the effects of the death will severely harm the group. They lose their 'dad'.
-Jaal becomes disturbing. His awe at the Jaardan becomes fixation, the reality of the Jaardan being not exclusively benevolent. His 'parents' in a sense are a very bad influence when not handled maturely. He could range from being a problematic party member, to villainizing. Tragic.
-Ryder mom wakes but she actually warns them about dad! This wasn't the happy awakening the twins were hoping for. He has a plan and his death wasn't a death. Setup for antagonist (not necessarily villain, at least mostly).
-Ryder twin is good, but various factors have them moving apart from Ryder. Not quite antagonist, but gradually rival and continues the sense of the family splitting apart from cracks set centuries ago.
-Archon is 'alive'! He's actually in the Remnant code! He is reconstituted, as an even more 'postorganic/synthorganic' than the angara, and may even join the ship. Much more character texture and able to give insights on the Kett, perhaps to the point of a Milky Way connection. His voice actor was chosen for this role, not the muffled villainous voice of MEA Archon.
-SAM's truths are revealed. What it knows, what it may not know it knew, what Alec fully wants from it, and what it may be becoming. Ryder has to learn more about how to exist without it, as they also become 'more' (transhuman transformation of brain; hinted by the Remnant access in MEA late game).
-Quarian ark arrives, with many in essentially refugee state that strains resources. Nexus and Helius attacked like a larger ME2 Collector intro, and Ryder is strained not just by the disaster, but by everyone essentially losing their minds in all the realistic ways. You may have stabilized the arks, but the cluster itself is adrift. You'll need help from outside, and ultimately from the Milky Way itself. MEA was silly in its attempts at warmth, because the point was to make us miss it in the next game.
MEA2's turn will be darker than the dark turn of ME2, but on the other hand may have various lights of hope throughout it. Resistance amongst the Kett. Peaceful synthetic society? Some Initiative members/leaders either standing up, redeeming, or heroically sacrificing themselves. But Ryder has tougher choices with bigger impact. What we/he chooses may not mean exactly the supposed extinction or a species or something, but it'll determine the makeup of much of the galaxy. He cannot only pathfind new colonies, but both the direction of a new galactic society and the way to a better place for all of his family and newfound friends. And as often on new journeys, this path may lead back home, in expected and surprising ways.
