Is there still hope for MEA ?

Hi there,

I just started MEA a week ago and what a blast, the story and characters are well made (psychologically), a lot of upgrades and quests to do and relationships to build.

But,

I’ve been experiencing so many problems with the game, critical issues, major and small ones. And of course, I want to know what happened, why are the critical issues not solved yet after a year ? And how did they miss the major ones ?

- The scan doesn’t hit : I have a highlightened red corpse on the floor, I’ve been scanning it for 20 Minutes until I realised that the only part of the body that made the scan trigger was the pinky nail, and this goes for everything, the scan is horrible while it’s one of the most important thing in the game

- USRB ? : The game is PGR 13 with flags of Violence / Sexual content and nudity. Something is already wrong in that sentence. So, where is the nudity and the sexual content ? I’ve been roaming bars in the Nexus, Kadara and other planets, the dancers are MORE dressed than my character (full armor, helmet, dark light so you won’t even have a glimpse of the body shape), and all romances are censored.. Why create the possibility to have a relationship with another character if even kissing is too much for a PGR13 ? Every scene with every character is just a black screen where nothing happens followed by : “ you got a new email “. This killed the game for me

- Map not loading : This one is so annoying, you go full speed with the Nomad on a hill and then the game freeze because the map hasn’t loaded yet, you spend 30 minutes before a door that you’ve been activating again and again and won’t open because the game didn’t load the empty room that was behind it. Amazing

- Quest order : A messy one as well. Why are my quests randomly listed ? I’m on Voeld, I want to check all my quests from Voeld, but they’re all scattered in my journal. If someone from the nexus asks me to go on Voeld talk to someone, it is listed as a Nexus quest, again, why ?

Now don’t get me wrong, I love the game, I love playing it, but I have so many problems that it gets harder and harder so keep up with the story. I won’t talk about the animation or the characters design because it’s already been discussed 100 times and we all know it’s 12 years behind anything that has been done so far. Won’t talk about the floating enemies or disappearing NPCs, nor the randomly running characters while you’re interacting with then or your character moving by himself or even the glitched achievements and Strike missions board that explodes and kill me when I interact with it after I bought Uranium.

So, does anybody know if BioWare is still on it or if it’s a lost cause and I’ll just have to throw away my hopes and have ghost romances with ghost characters ?
