High: Some fun games with Mordokai yesterday afternoon, including an Asari pair on Goddess, when I didn't make extraction but my death was avenged. We ended on a bad note when we tried something similar on Condor as a pair of Fat Turians. I got grabbed trying to revive a Krogan pug when I didn't realize Mordo was already down on Wave 8. I also played a handful of games with Rossini and some of his friends, which finished with the most fun Collectors game I've had in a very long time, on White. Rossini doesn't post here, so it's impossible for me to know whether the "Ah FFS!" comment as an exploding Abomb took him down was aimed at my stupidity or his. I couldn't resist though, as a Huntress I'd already primed it with Dark Channel, and it was running towards him.... We got targets on wave 10, and he had no missiles left but I managed to switch the second to a Psion, then another player took out the second and third, switching the final target to a Captain. What followed provoked spontaneous laughter from all four of us. He spawned up at the LZ, as we were all running towards him. I'm not sure what powers actually hit him, but the animation played out in a way much funnier than your average Marauder on fire, for example. It was like he took one look at us and thought, "Sod this. I'm outta here. Tell Harbinger I quit!" before he took a backwards somersault and was never seen again. As I said we were all laughing so I don't even know who got the kill.

I played my first ever game on pc!!! With budhalen I kinda grabbed him and was like 'help' so we played bronze *cuddles sniper forever* In my starter pack thingies I got a cabal vanguard which ive never tried before and a Valkyrie Erm... it feels weird... but fast which is good the menus and everything seem faster and the graphics look a little clearer but yeah the controls generally feel weird... In the other games I own it doesnt really matter where i have my fingers because theyre just singleplayer really so I can wander around at my own speed... but because mass effect is a little faster I guess I had some trouble figuring out where to put my fingers which meant I had a very awkward few games finger wise... and like... I kept having to stop to use powers and the spacebar also but I guess it will just be a case of getting used to it I also find the aiming a little disorientating but apparently im better at shooting than I am at moving which is ok... I actually did better than I expected with the Mantis when I used it... I actually did better than usual on the playstation (not score wise but headshot wise)... I barely ever get 20 headshots but I DID!!! Was quite proud sniping feels sooooooo much better than on the playstation... like... when I aim is actually aim where I want and aiming seems a little faster also... maybe my mouse sensitivity is higher than the playstations or whatever... but aiming with a sniper is much better than the Playstation for sure even if I (so far) massively prefer the controller to keyboard and mouse I like it so far but it does feel super weird and hard

We ended on a bad note when we tried something similar on Condor as a pair of Fat Turians. I got grabbed trying to revive a Krogan pug when I didn't realize Mordo was already down on Wave 8. Thessia was defended from Reaper forces and Sur'Kesh was defended from Cerberus, but sadly, Reapers took Palaven. Fat turians proved too manly(and too fat) for banshees to resist and they were cuddled to death. They shall be avenged post haste, of course. Had some fun games with Stephen after you left and some more today. Our smashbro duo kicked Cerberus out of Glacier, the quarian female duo kicked Reapers out of reactor(with a little help from FireRider) and the three of us kicked Reapers from Rio as well. We had some help from random pugs, but it's almost not worth mentioning. Some silver and some gold, but always fun. All in all, lot of fun with this game in the last two days and I'm looking forward to meeting you guys again during the next week while I'm staying at home and having access to my PS3 and net, winkwink.

One of my favourite moments, from the Cerby game on Giant: stephenw32768 [Atlas] Atlas Low: prior to those games, a Silver wave 8 wipe on Goddess/Geth, when my smashdept failed to curry two newbies. I always have trouble staying on my feet when playing as him. Didn't help that I'd been playing vanguards a fair bit so was still in the "doesn't matter where I stand, shields are just a Charge away" mindset.

I had some fun bronze games with Docsteely for uh levelling up purposes collectors though Basically I tried to play Borderlands 2 and ended up feeling nauseous after about 15 minutes so I swapped games to mass effect and ah much better it felt pretty similar to motion sickness or something like that... which is super weird... I can actually still kinda feel it... but mass effect made me feel better They were fun games for sure... both collectors... one on uh London the other on giant I kept hitting things with my shield

I had some fun bronze games with Docsteely for uh levelling up purposes collectors though Collectors were my worst nightmare back in my Bronze days. I do think that Bronze Collectors are around the same difficulty as Silver Reapers. Silver Collectors were too much for me back then and were one of the reasons why it took me so long to move up from Bronze to Silver. I tried playing Portal earlier this year and had the same problem. I got quite far into it but couldn't finish it.

Collectors are not as bad as Cerberus, imo, because in terms of progression (Bronze -> Silver -> Gold) they are much more balanced. The greatest difference for me was Gold Cerberus vs. Silver Cerberus which I find imbalanced. That is why I take anytime Collecturds over Cerberus. They were fun games for sure... both collectors... one on uh London the other on giant I kept hitting things with my shield London/Collectors? That's my second favourite after London/Geth! Not on PS3, trust me. The (in)famous memory leak is almost a given after a Collector game or a London game. So you need to restart after... not very pleasant.

Still on the road to maxxing again my characters after promotion: High: Had some very fun games with jmac (thanks man!) and some of his friends. Three gold games: White/Reapers, Reactor Hazard/Reapers and Condor/Geth; for the first two I took my lovely Cabal for a walk and after that my all cheese Kroguard and all went quite well. But after that we tried Platinum/Reapers on Hydra and of course Low: We wiped out on wave 10 with 2-3 seconds to go before finishing the objective. Despite everybody being tired (almost midnight), it was OK as Plat games go, but we got twice the LZ hack: w3 and w10 and that's a killzone on par with the one on center Giant. It was the only time I've missed my 3 points hexshield as a Jug, in the last I don't know how many games I played with him...

The greatest difference for me was Gold Cerberus vs. Silver Cerberus which I find imbalanced. That is why I take anytime Collecturds over Cerberus. I agree 100%. One day, perhaps someone from BioWare will explain precisely what the heck they were thinking when they were "balancing" late-wave Gold Cerberus. With a team who know what they're doing, the only thing that puts me off playing Gold Collectors is the risk of PS3 freeze. Presetting Glacier or White is generally safe, in my experience.

High: LOOOOT!!! Low: the first match of the day was rio geth gold, which i joined GIP at the end of w1. And it was laggy as fook. I didn't want to waste my consumables so hung around. But by wv 5 we wiped, having been joined by at least 3 other players who left sharpish. Oh well.

low (but funny): wos leveling me jugg (it was at lvl12); gold/ rippaz/ giant - wave 10; i am ze only one left breathing. Its early in ze wave so everyone is going for me (maybe cause i am the only one standing). Hokay i waste shite load of them (ze ones surrounding moi) then waste 2 gels; stil 3 brutes, 2-3 ravagers, 2-3 marauders and 2 screaming wneches left. I have no gels anymore! I am running around in ze giant space dildo and killing stuff! Only one screaming wench and a ravager are left; i am killing the ravager and then i focus on a single banshee with no more then 2-3 bars bars left. And then i am killed by a swarmer lol.. as i am bleeding out i am typing ffs.. the host leaves after seeing the message so no xp for lil ol me hahaa

High: Finally played some games on lolEcksbawks 360noscope (the owner of whom triggered me by having not even deployed the QFI or Quarksman yet).
Low: Ran into no BSNers, and despite the garbage control scheme and idiotic Lego inspired Nintendo Dreamcast controller thing the Ecksbawks uses, I was ruining my back carrying scrubs by the second game.
So basically, it was just like playing PS3, except I got to play a whole Dagger Hazard-Collectors game without it breaking my system (I don't know whether that's a plus or minus).

Just wait til your 'A' button starts taking a shit and the left thumbstick starts crapping out too. It's fun when your character just goes into full retard mode trying to sprint then not sprint then not move at all.
