did i make it before the next post? bsn is on fire lately :-P

Played a couple of games tonight. A volus mercenary joined the first one and he was a good player, but he gave me food for thought when he confirmed what I long suspected... my host sucks He was a pretty cool sport about it, but he did kinda hinted that I should never host again. "For the seek of community", as he said.

Thus my resolve for retirement grows

High: got joined by clips7 and firerider after reset(the first game was Collecturds and this is PS3 we're talking about...) and we had a couple of good games. Thanks for carrying the team to victory, you guys, after personal issues called me away on w10 of reactor/geth game. And FR, your krogan license has been officially revoked

But I am interested, on a scale of one to "never again", how bad is my host really?

"Oh yeah, that's an headshot! No, wait, that abomination is actually three meters on my left!" 

"Collector captain engaged, he is dead but he does not know it yet; arc pistol charged, boom, headshot... no damage? Ok, no problem, arc pistol charged, boom, headshot... No, wait, where's that collector captain? Oh wow, now is three meters on my left and I'm dead" 

"wow, everyone is teleporting now" 

"let me revive and shield boost that teammate... *press X to revive* nothing happens *tries again* nope is not going to happen; another teammate approaches and revive him without problems, *sad volus*. Wait, now they are also happily teleporting together away from me? Ouch, this one hurts, this one hurts a lot"

I had a chance to talk with that volus player after that match he had with you and that's what he told me. By the way, he had a very sexy italian accent
He also said that you should get a wire cable instead of retiring cause he will be happy to team-up again, but maybe on his host or on someone else host   

The high was taking 2 players who just started the MP (low level gear/weapons and the like) with another good player, and helping them through some gold matches, always feels good to get new players a boost

Low: was noticing my Geth-Javelin-infiltrator stil being cursed by getting that horrible Glacier-hazard-Collectors combo on platinum once again Don't know what it is, but whenever I play it there is a 60% chance of me getting that map/enemy combination. Though might just be confirmation bias, but I certainly get that map a lot on higher difficulties.

GGs, from all three, we had a blast last night.

Low: three scrubs were refusing to be cooked in the reactor, especially a pesky drell with his adrenaline III and a pink krogan sentinel

And don’t bother with the score man, it's an iffy indicator at best, sometimes it can actually make sense (if you outscore some pug with his fully loaded aiu reetard while using a lolkit, yep, that says something ) but most of the times it does not reflect at all how important you are for the team. A perfectly timed geth turret launched near a teammate on health gate is priceless yet no points are given for that.
You are a great teammate and player, looking forward to the next game with you (expect hazard reactor again )

We absolutely need to farm some credits to level up your Venom as fast as possible

Low point... well, I forgot how to play. I kept sticking to everything, using all the wrong keys, trying to dodge using the wrong button... I think I died 3 times in the first 30 seconds after loading into london. Also there was some messed up lag, and my sound was only half working. "Rusty" doesn't even begin to describe my level of play... if you've ever seen those youtube videos where the person takes this hunk of rust and somehow takes it apart, cleans it up and then makes it work again and with a fresh coat of paint makes something old look brand new again... yeah, that wasn't me, I'm still just the hunk-of-rust.

Although after a few refresher matches, I died less, and then I rounded off the evening by landing in a game with Beerfish, so that was pretty excellent.

And yeah, the only way to join someone else's game while your library has disappeared, is by starting me3 separately AND getting an invitation. Just trying to join with the blue arrow will lead to origin helpfully pointing out that you can't join because you don't own the game!
