Retirement is a crutch. I recommend we all never truly retire - maybe we need a sabbatical from time to time ...... but I always come back.
Just yesterday I had to figure out how to import a character from ME1 into ME2. Origin and cloud saves made it most difficult, but I got it working. I also downloaded ME2 Gibbed so I don't have to worry about Paragon and Renegade scores (and checks), credits, minerals and all of that.
It's been a while since I played ME2. Running around as a level 5 Vanguard with crap weapons on Veteran difficulty is actually tougher than I remember. Heck, even the hacks were difficult because I am so rusty.

Wow some player combos working together can be just devastating. I entered a gold game playing as a spitfire juggy and a geth infil using a collector sniper rifle hung together with me (the other players were doing there thing) vs the rippers. We ere just obliterating the banshees. As they came up i would do a very quick melee grab to get them to concentrate on me and then between the spitfire and the collector rifle we just melted their faces in record time. As in, I was shocked at how quick they were going down. Fun match.
Huntress. 51 min for me is a good time. Yes, I'z a SCRUB
Low: used my gains for an AP and just a Striker & Kishock. That extends UR-less streak to 45 packs, ughh. ... right after a 34 pack UR-less streak. For those keeping score, that's 1 UR in EIGHTY packs

High: Got 1st in a stacked lobby of a QMI and a Drell assassin who used the reegar, while I used a krogan shaman adept build I made on the spot that features the Claymore
High: Was playing my siege pulse juggernaut build in pugs for fun. Managed to outscore a host in one of the games who took his sweet time getting to the hack circle in one of the objective waves
High: Geth juggernaut was a lot of fun and I missed playing the big synthetic fortress of a geth wreaking havoc in pug land.

Did you purchase all of the "low" packs first? I think the idea is to fill out all of the low level guns and max them (Level X) before moving to the more expensive packs and guns. I made the mistake of saving up and getting the most expensive weapon packs back in the day - this is kind of like trying to roll a giant stone cube up a hill rather than making the packs (and the odds) work in your favor.

Sort of, I'm very methodical on stuff like that.
My approach (I have a few alts):
Buy Recruit packs till I max the 5 "basic" common mods (not till I max common weapons). This is fast
Buy Vet packs till I max the full common mods (not uncommon weapons, etc). By this time, the common weapons are likely maxed, and likely have all UC characters unlocked.
Buy SP's till I'm pretty healthy in UC weapon mods (these come slow, but SP's are the most efficient for them)
From there, it is generally RP's if I'm light on kits I like, or AP's if I managed to get lucky on kits and want to start getting more rare weapons and weapon mods. Generally one of those two, not PSP's.
But UR drop shouldn't depend on any of that. It is just (by common understanding) 7.5% per Rare/UR slot, regardless of history. There is a reddit post claim from BSN's Thirdrace that ME3's RNG system isn't perfectly random, thus ways to game the %, but I remain skeptical.
High: Played yesterday few games with eng59land, Cchris1602B and Boatinhovic111. Latter one made quickest dying in a history of videogames. I revived him on goddess before wave 1 even started. Maybe there was some disconnection or so in your point of you but it looked quite hilarious.

My character couldn't move so I typed suicide in an attempt to fix the problem, but it didn't work.

Low: Where to start? Three weeks ago I was playing out of my mind, completing a plat solo, knocking some serious time off of previous N7 Challenge solos, and just breezing through plat whether it be pugs or hosting. The past two weeks have been quite the opposite. I haven't been playing terribly, just not very well either. I was struggling starting public plat matches, struggling in plat pugs, and struggling with good plat teams...struggling with the Claymore
High: Some elite lolconsole aiming! Aimbots were defiantly used Followed by headshot, headshot, headshot, headshot, headshot.

* translation: teams not very good, had to work extra hard. Especially in last Collector game.
Low: Joined PUG in progress. ALIENTECH joined soon after. Then I get the "lost connection to game". This happens to me when host drops. Is it safe to assume the host saw ALIENTECH, and quit? Just wondering since he has a rep as a troll. Can someone join a game and use console commands to undermine it, or is that only when hosting?
High: I like nothing better than seeing an opportunity for an over-cover grab coming up (although strangely enough, too many in a row gets very boring, very quickly)
