On a related note, I got a message from someone I used to play with regularly in 2012. Turns out he never spoke back then because he was 12 at the time. He thanked me for being a good teammate even though "he must have been an annoying kid" and I was like "dude, I thought you were 20!" Ha ha! He's a streamer now, I think. Damn, I'm old. Nice stuff ! drag him to play a bit again! What was his nickname ? #sweetretirement

Low: Dropped into a GIP with ALIENTECH. Figured "Well, these consumables are gone, maybe I can stay away from him and still get paid." High: He played like a normal person and helped with objectives and revives. I was kind of shocked. Has he reformed his ways since the old days? Maybe he grew up. Ah, ALIENTECH!
They dropped into a Silver PUG I was in. Condor, as a Jugg. Yep, stood top of hill, fired off Siege Pulse and PPR. Then was surprised when they joined the hack at bottom of hill. But proceeded to spend most of the time juuuust outside the circle, shield up.
So I looked up their N7HQ. 8800hrs, ungodly N7. Close, but never completed Mass Effect Mastery. You can probably guess some missing: Solos (done Silver, never a Gold) Combat Mastery(!) - cover grabs open (only 72!)
Has Squad Elite, but has NEVER completed First Aid Mastery. Only 48 First Aid medals! Not a surprise given how they "play".

I just thought it was nice that he remembered having a good time with the gang back in the day. We all met though PUGging and just decided to hang out together. This is one of the things I really love about ME3 MP. We complain about certain players, but the fact that we all know them because there's only a handful of jerks in the entire playerbase is something very special.
Aww, now I'm getting misty-eyed.  You guys are the best!

Yeah, he was playing a Juggernaut and meleeing all the things by himself much of the time, but came to the hack and even used a few missiles to save people.  I think it's hard to get revive medals as a juggernaut unless people are sticking close and literally dying at your feet. If he plays a Jugg almost exclusively that would also explain the lack of grabs. I thought he used to play geth engineer, but maybe he's been a jugg all this time and I've just been remembering the turret (that he used to shoot me with).

Bit of a Low.
Just got fuckin trolled by the matching system. Queued UUP, waiting a minute or two, show up to an early game GiP, Giant, Cerberus or Reapers, don't remember. Two other people there already. A Valkyrie and a Geth Trooper. Awesome, on my pally, flamer+cryo works for me. Had my equipment on already.
So the match is full of Phantoms. Oh well, I know exactly how to deal with em.
Only... the Phantom survives what she usually doesn't. Okay, maybe my equipment didn't apply correctly? I spend the match running around under that impression and holy shit every phantom I come across wrecks me. Also seems like my AP ammo isn't applying correctly cause my shots aren't penetrating like they should. I think...
Well we finish the match. (I died 10 secs left on extraction ofc.)
I'M THE HOST.

I got GiP'd into the match as the HOST. It was on-host Phantom DR that was fucking with me.
Well played Matchmaking System, well played.
Also I feel sorry for the people playing on my potato laptop with youtube blaring music in the background eating bandwidth. That can't have been a fun experience.

So there were three of us in a lobby with a combined total of 393k CP (disregarding the other 200k I've accrued on PS3), with me playing as a Justicar to finish off Commando Mastery again. Host was a Volus Adept and the other guy an ex-Cerb Adept. We were joined by a Drell Adept, so the squad was certainly strong on Biotics. However the Drell had zero CP, no gear and was ranked N4. High: The Drell was the last of all of us to go down.   I should clarify that the mission (Reapers/Reactor) was never in a moment's doubt, and the dude didn't score heavily or anything, but his Reave was used to maximum effect in support of my Asari. He even exchanged some melees. Good, willing Pug. Additional high - Paladin X with the credits, leaving me 13 URs short of a second maxed manifest. |

High: Pretty good Reaper/Glacier using the Fury.
Didn't fire the Predator once (did use a couple of missiles) and Throw use went from 0% to 100%.
That was a good run.
(I don't record full length games, only highlights. Pity in this case lol)

Cyberpunk 2077 is basically right around the corner I decided to go against my better judgement (after a certain burn) and pre-ordered it a couple of months ago. Hopefully it wasn't a bad decision. Shit I don't think I've preordered a game since Guitar Hero 3  I'm more than likely going to do that with this one though.

Alright, Who said Explosive ammo is useless? That is epic. I could watch it on a loop. Glorious thuggery. Explosive ammo on the Graal and Kishock is certainly a better choice than the frequent selections of AP IV I regularly witness.

Hi: Newer player learned the stay away from hack-zone lesson. He runs right to the zone and plants there, the rest of the team is back on the other end of FBReactor. After a time you could almost see the light bulb go on as he scurries back to the rest of us. We time it perfectly and end up with a nice relaxing extraction.
Low: As often happens players will not pull out the missile launcher come hell or high water during the match. (Unless it is enemy targets). Then on extraction out comes the launcher for no good reason. It just often totally screws up and extraction plan. These are good players with high scores who can kill stuff efficiently as is and yet they have to jack the spawn with the result being the new spawn is behind some other player who gets squashed as a result.
