High: Finally got the time for one MP game: being rusty (and old  ) had to ask for help from some young'uns, so I coopted burningcherry 's help (Thanks for the curry!  ). Have to say the game is still as fun as always and we made short work of Rippaz on Reactor Hazard. I somehow managed not to get grabbed or skewered (though not by lack of trying...  ) Low: Still frelling busy these days:hammer: , but I hope to get some more games next week  ... |

High: The ability to find plat lobbies on Xbox at the times I play this game is wonderful considering how old it is. I've been able to pug plat for the past two weeks and the players have been pretty decent as well. High/Low: Joined a lobby with one other person, the host, and equipped the Mantis on the DAI for Plat/Rippaz/Giant preset and I'm glad I added the HurrDurr last minute because it ended up being a duo. I had to carry a wave or two, but we extracted and the HurrDurr did work when needed  Highest: I needed a new laptop and it needs to be beefy to run certain software. So logically I downloaded ME3 to see how it was compared to my potato desktop and lolconsole. All I have to say is wow. The Glorious Fat Turian Sentinel never looked so fat and glorious, and the Claymore was  I hosted a White/Reaper/Gold and I only had two Banshee grabs where I forgot how to move away from them. I was thoroughly impressed and may be playing more mustard in the future.

High: Firing a missile at a phantom and missing, but realizing I needed the phantom to Jugg grab for health to survive on the LZ with a sliver of health left. Low: On a different match the game crashing 3 seconds before extraction  Many something worth celebrating, can still find players to play with and this is on PS3.

Female Engineer getting grabby and stabby (way better than meet and greet) with the local Marauders Think she got another one later. The 3 Infiltrators weren't pulling their weight much Also, nice to see that even rapidly approaching 60 I still have some semblance of reflexes left |

Low: Spent over an hour trying to sync a controller to my PS3, but it really seems as if the Bluetooth has died. RIP my third account with 78 URs still needed.
High: 5 games on Xbox with 2 good hosts. Almost had a full Asari squad at one point. Needed some revives due to rustiness but all games were successful with only one single inexperienced pug left behind. Even Collectors on Rio didn't prove too much of a challenge. No waiting for games at all, which is fairly impressive after 9 years.

Low: The amount of Rippaz/White/Gold (it feels like 15/20 matches) and OP as fuck kits on gold I've seen on PC is amazing. I see why y'all complain about it. I haven't quite figured out pizza running with an unsplit omni key yet. High: The amount of games I played on PC over the past week is good. I'm getting better with the controls and working out my bindings, but my brain can't handle a keyboard sometimes and I just stop functioning for a second or two. It's hilarious  Highest: Had a really nice Rippaz/White/Plat match on Saturday and I did much better than I thought I was going to, but I cheesed it with a Venom Valkyrie Warp/Incendiary glitch on PC is more stupid than it is on lolconsole. The Crusader (even without the mod to fix the delay) is absolutely bonkers compared to lolconsole; my Destroyer obliterated the Trolls. I didn't get a screen grab, but me and another person had the exact same score and I that's the first time I've seen that.

So, decided to PuG Claymore DrellGod. Joined GiP, wave one. Host was a survival spec'd Juggy. This is fine I think, I go and kill things like a Drell that can charge and has a Claymore usually does. Oh by the way, did I mention Cluster Grenades? Anyways, 3 waves survived... Interesting. I mean, I am not that bad a Drell, but I am also not that good of one. Wave 4, 2 joiners. Wrex, nice to see ya! 5 waves survived... I should buy a lottery ticket! ... 10 WS, off-host DrellGod. By the power of Claymore   |

High/low: Had a match that was all adepts (Valkyrie x2) and vanguards (Novaguard, Smashguard), and it went so smoothly that we all decided to celebrate with heavy melees/Nova during extraction. Apparently the celebrations went on for too long, because we all got murdered by a swarm of phantoms in the span of maybe 2 seconds, then a couple of my teammates got cornered and repeatedly killed by phantoms and dragoons until we nuked our way to freedom. Worth it though. :')

High: Played some matches for the first time in a few months. Opened a gold/geth/u with my kroguard and bounced around with whoever joined. Easy fun to get back into things.
Then queued UUP with my Paladin 64646 w/wraith, Mapleshield. Dropped into a, IIRC, Reapers/Giant/P. Proceeded to scrape some rust off the hard way. Got sync'd by banshees twice while remembering the steps to their dance. Luckily got killed during the animation both times so I got to pick myself back up and do it all over again. Many banshee bums were liberally whacked with a fireshield.
Queued again with same people, InsolentMink and Macgyver-something? InsolentMink was a vorcha with a flamer who did the bulk of the work while I messed around with my shield. Macgyverguy was a Prime both matches and made a nice falling back point. Hopefully they weren't too irritated at my dedication to a melee-oriented death.

Low: Failed to curry Plat preset WCP on Euro host, with Throwslinger Gal. Wave 9 wipe, our PuGs and host weren't ready for Phantoms and the lag got me Banshee grabbed.
Lower: same lobby, same preset, host switched from Fury to GI. I decided to bring FrostyBoy Fireshield.
Absolutely wrecked the Phantom problem, singlehandedly mostly. Wave 10 hack in the basement though, was too much for this group.
Back-to-back Fission Mailed, has been years honestly.

Completed my first Gold game on PC, got carried pretty hard.
Low points are that I suck with a keyboard and mouse having not ventured into PC gaming this is new and an unfamiliar experience. Aiming with a mouse is OK buts its the movement and the various buttons thats catching me out currently.
Steadily improving, im now quite a bit better than I was a week ago.

It took me quite a while. Being able to do Gold after a week'ish is pretty good! And once I got used to it, it was "welcome to a whole new wide world of gaming possibilities!" Well I'm currently playing tankier characters so that I dont get downed too much, played the first game on vancouver vs the geth 😐 I was a krogan soldier, Second game was firebase giant vs Reapers and I was the default human soldier. I haven't fully maxed my manifest for example I currently have a lvl 2 Collector smg and I tried to follow ur advice of not maxing my manifest straight away but the dmg is pretty underwhelming lol. The big thing was moving away from trying to game with a dell office keyboard and office mouse to a mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse from logitech (was getting cramp with my fingers and wrist due to the dell keyboard which had no keykap elevation). Moving to a mechanical logitech keyboard and mouse has helped quite a lot. |

Rockets bound to scroll wheel click, scrolling the wheel still switches weapons (mostly used for hiding rocket launcher). Q as gel, for silky RC. Some people split use/run, but I don't really like using Shift to sprint so I never went that far. These are my keybinds, others may have different ones that suit you better. |
