Recent Game Highlights and/or Low Points

High point: Played my first game of ME3mp last night in a loooooooooooong time (almost a year, going from my n7hq). Figured I'd be really rusty (and I was correct about that) so I just did a Silver solo with the Slayer.

Low point: could only play the one game, thanks to my shitty off-brand ps3 controller and my chronic neck/shoulder shit that keeps me from being able to play video games for more than 15-20 min at a time. Would have liked to play a Gold game, ideally with other people, but maybe I can get one in this evening now.

But it felt good to play ME3mp after so long, even if it was only for a quick Silver solo.

And also my consumable/credit situation is absolute horseshit. I currently have:

Incendiary II: 2
Incendiary III: 0
Incendiary IV: 1

and only 3 Disruptor IVs. A combined 6 Cyclonic III/IVs. And only 5 Power Amp IV. The only thing I'm decently stocked on are AM IIIs.

Tried another Plat solo last night, but was using my Sony-brand ps3 controller whose directional pad buttons randomly press themselves. So by w3 or so I had lost all of my Ops packs and Thermal clips due to the directional pad buttons pressing themselves.

So I switched controllers and opened up the lobby for a Gold game, only I was using the generic brand ps3 controller whose R1 button (the button to fire your gun) gets stuck. Which was almost as big of a problem.

Going to try taking them apart and cleaning them for like 10th time and try again, otherwise I'll have to try to find a new Sony-brand ps3 controller on Ebay or something. Very lame.

Bumped into a couple of games like that today.

Couldn't /disconnect quickly enough.

Erm.... I finished playing Resident Evil (PS1) and decided to boot up ME3 for playstation for a giggle...

It was clunky, It felt wrong, but to my surprise there were pugs and my playstation didn't blow up.

12 matches, 2 challenges, 1 in 2017 and the other in 2019. To think I was wanting to bring N7S to PS3. Glad i didn't now. Feels so sluggish that i'm sure I would've quit or gotten ill from game-rage.

I hate the fucking Geth. From the heart. I'm mostly playing SP Legendary edition, and allowed myself to be killed by just about the last toaster before a checkpoint on the recruit Tali mission. I switched over to ME3 MP and landed in a Geth GiP on Reactor Hazard. My Batarian Brawler coordinated quite nicely with a Warlord and victory was never really in doubt, but still, I hate the fucking Geth.

^^^ Can't remember which BSNer it was, but I remember a match like that where everyone decided to go full stupid and it worked amazingly well.

I was Melee KroSent, no nades. Reaper Plat, we landed on Giant I think. Long story short too late? I think I shot my gun three times. Everytime something grabbed me, DPS from team told them to put me down gently right now. Then I backfisted their head into orbit. The other BSNer? Also rolling a melee kit, and then the mystery players actually brought their guns and used them. It was a 17min run, no rockets... May have been Vormav?

Good times. My galactic readiness now is at 50%.... hasn't been back there in, I dunno, 10 years.

After not playing for nearly two years, just one or two games drunk, I am super in the game again. And already so so angry.

low: Everyone sucks. Guy with 'best of the best banner' has no idea how spawns work. He just stands, where he wants them, forcing me to watch his stupid ass, while I just want to get some katana kills.

Thought I check out the good old MP again... joined a GiP at W9 and got kicked after the game lol
Next game the host leaves. The game after that I disconnect from EA servers at W9. I thought this was an Anthem only issue but apparently I have a very unstable connection to EA servers as of late last year. No problem in other online though, so not sure what's causing it.

Also: I was constantly pressing several buttons to activate stuff and dodge and they obviously don't work in this game because it's all bound to that damn omni-key. So best case: nothing happens. Worst case: console opens and I don't realize it right away. Also: pressing the wrong buttons to swap back to my weapon from the rocket launcher and using consumables instead.

edit: after giving it another go I think my ME3MP days are really over. I can't put up with the clunky controls anymore, sticking to cover when I don't want to (and I basically never want to) and not being able to move as smoothly as in some other more recent games (which all have some issues as well). And don't get me started on the horrible staggering the Geth use on you. So back to some more Outriders I guess...

Wasserpest dropped into my rio pug IP. Was necessary i guess as my melee destroyer was not very efficient (meleeing collectors on rio is not the best idea anyway)

Was fun and not so tense in the end , but no time for hugs and other kisses
