Recent Game Highlights and/or Low Points

Survived the full game without getting downed once....this happened 2 games in a row...



Low point was I forgot how to play this game and could remember my bindings for switching weapons

Lol thanks, no I didn't forget the flamer (I hate that ability and only use the trooper to mess around with different weapons). It was that game with you though that I couldn't remember how to switch weapons 🤣 Had a black widow as a secondary to help with some of the boss units but ended up using the collector assault rifle for the whole of the match. Not too painful though seeing as I bumped into 4 BSN'ers 🙂.

PS Cherry is a scrub who rage gel'd to stop me reviving him (which I wholeheartedly approve)

High: I played an entire two games the other night, for the first time in ages, and did pretty well for a rusty drunk guy if I do say so myself. The Glorious Fat TSent is still fat and still glorious, and the Human Engie w/ CSMG still rips. It's like riding a bike. Dark Souls/Elden Ring is pretty engraved at this point and I meleed instead of sprinting a few times

Low: "I am Malenia, Blade of Miquella." so I think I'm going to be playing some more ME3 until that boss is dead.

As much as I love the fat Turians, no dodge is no bueno for me. I could at least try a Claymore though

It was odd how the last gold match I was in today consisted of both Cerberus and Geth on Gold difficulty. First I thought the game was bugged because I kept hearing assault troopers being killed while fighting nothing but Geth troopers and Pyros with the pause menu saying it was a Geth match, then after a few waves started seeing centurions and Atlas mechs alongside the usual Geth hunter and pyro spam with the occassional Geth Prime. The match went very well until my game crashed on wave 10 after killing a few phantoms with an arc pistol.

Did anyone else encounter oddities like that?

There was another match a few months ago where some cut looking objective wave started playing called "Recover the prothean artifact" where it played the exact same as an object recovery round but with extra annoying steps where you have to pick up a brown pot with a progress bar like you are disabling a jammer, there is no documentation on it anywhere but you don't forget some primitive looking untextured placeholder meshes showing up in the middle up a Gold match.

Lucky you. I ran into DoL yesterday and he was dribbling something about modded lobbies before I muted him.

Beats the random earrape mics I always run into. Its almost always some inconsiderate Spanish speaking prick talking on some kind of kinect mic on their PC having a heart to heart with their family while playing ME3.   I always leave those matches since there is no mute option on PC.

Solutions like that do help, but they are typically accompanied with serious rubberbanding and its not fun to dump an entire mag of Harrier X into a standard redbar enemy's skull and then have them randomly down me several times in a row before their head just pops off. So leaving and hosting is the only solution to that.

Got something today I have not had in a long time. Hazard ghost, gold, reapers.

A guy got on his mic about 3/4 way through the game and just started berating me for pissing him off by kill stealing with my batarian sentinel. I was just trying to kill things as soon as possible, the one that got him was me shooting a banshee from distance as his asari was battling it from close up. I was legit concerned about a sync kill, he did not see it that way.

So I decided to back off and not go full bore due to his desire to score more and I immediately get sync killed as a result.
